Titanium mig 170 would've been a better comparison. Or the 200...

Great job on the welder video! I'm thinking of getting the Yeswelder 205DS as well!

Not sure why I'm watching this as I am in Canada and have no access to Harbour Freight. I also already own a mig and a tig. I guess I just enjoy your videos, Mike.

IF you notice there is a little bounce on both. When welding thin sheet metal 20 Gauge or thinner. to not burn through you need the settings pretty cold. so it does that. If you weld 18 gauge you will have the setting higher and not get that bounce.

Were you running the yeswelder at 110 volts or 220 volts?

Should be a post flow setting for time the gas runs on the Vulcan in the programming? Also for welding with the Yes Welder on holes or such set the metal thickness much thinner than it actually is which will give you a colder weld. Aluminum in TIG or Mig is straight argon although for a hotter arc in mig you can use 75 Argon 25 Helium on aluminum. An example would be when you are stretching the machines capability in thickness of material (only by a bit it won't work miracles).

With the weld height....the inductance less than 5 give a colder...stuffer weld...less fluid puddle...tends to lay a tall weld...above 5 and you get a more fluid puddle that tends to lay flatter

Hey Mike ! Your wasting those welds ? Under Rambus there is a swiss cheese area on the frame were the rear torsion tube is on the left side . Making the patch is no big deal its welding it upside down is a no go for me . I only got a 220v arc welder and the weld will fall off on to me . Dang !!!! I have mainly done strike arc tig weld ... with that I would have no problem .

Buy a Miller 211 it welds 24 guage to 3/8 metal a very solid welder.

It seems you keep running the Harbor Freight too cold so it can’t flatten out.
