In the very beginning I stated moves such as Fire Blast, Blizzard, Zap Cannon, Dynamicpunch, Hydro Pump and Thunder all had there base accuracy increased. The opposing teams where also supposed to have those accuracy benefits but due to an oversight on my part they didn't get those benefits till much later in the game.
This isn't a mod, this is my own modified version of Round 2. But because the rules are different such as... 6 VS 6, opponent teams have max EV and DV's, Legendary Pokemon can appear and the Level 70 Prime Cup competition, I've called it Round 3.
@@PokeRush415 do you have any thought of having others being able to download your modification of this so others can play pokemon stadium 2 round 3? or show others how to make a similar mod based on you version?
@@TeanGreatCappy The modifications are made post boot (Original Stadium 2), so they are done through scripting, or live modifications. Though I have previously said that I may do a tutorial someday. Ultimately, a persons ability to modify the game from within memory, comes down to how much that person knows about scripting, within whatever memory editor they use. The blueprint for all this was actually created over 20 years ago, when the ID's for Pokemon, move slots, moves, items and maxed EV and DV's where all found. Everything was there, I just moved existing values for them to be used in different parts of the game.
That was earlier on in Round 3. Later in the Round I swapped out recovery for Rest, plus if I had given Starmie an ice attack it would've been to offensive, but there is a flip side to that. I didn't have any ice output in this team for this battle. I know Tyranitar can learn Ice Beam, so maybe that would've been the better option. I took that risk of not having any ice Pokemon or moves in my team.
I Modified Round 2 so that Trainers have more diverse teams, there Pokémon are maxed EV and DV trained, and it's 6 VS 6 for every battle. These changes made it Round 3.
I think Lance has Tyranitar in Round 1 and that's not modified. As for Alakazam, it's to stop his team being one sided so that I didn't spam ice attacks. Look at Steelix as another example, it's not a dragon type but yet it's in his team. Game Freak knew that if you just put multiple Pokemon that are the same type in one battle, it would be too easy. It's like this throughout Stadium, especially in Round 2. Another example is the Pokemaniac trainer from Poke Cup Master Ball, his team is not far from being identical to Lance's team. If you add Gyarados and Steelix to that team, it will be identical to Lance's Round 1 team, and he's not even a dragon type Trainer.
Alakazam doesn’t fit at all, but Tyranitar I think fits alright And to be fair - there are like 4 dragon types in gen 2 (and he’s hardly going to be adding dratini to his team as the Champion)
In the Stadium Games (especially 2), it's borderline miraculous if a Gym Leader or Elite 4 member have half of their team be of the type they're supposed to use.
The theme song of this stage is fantastic!
06:33 I love the fainted last scream of Machamp.
Surprised Dragonite Drill Peck didn’t do at least 50% to Starmie

Meeh, using Zap cannon.
Can you tell me what mod your using please. Because I know for a fact that theres no such thing of Pokemon Stadium 2 Round 3.

Lance was kinda hard for me.
Steelix more fast than Tyranitar?
It was likely holding a Quick Claw.

No entiendo porque ese starmie tiene recuperación si es un cañon de papel, debería tener rayo hielo

the fug? alakazam used blizzard
This was back when I was giving opponent teams illegal moves, but I changed it later on because it defeats the purpose of changing Pokemon.
Every worse lance has Machamp and alakazam 🤦🏽♂️

Doesn't make any sense Lance, the "Dragon Trainer", with a Alakazam and Tyranitar. 😅
