I really like those monotheme fragrances! Some are really great! No one talks about them! Death on the Nile is a very atmospheric film, I see where you are coming from. Lauren Bacall just stood out, probably partially her voice. Dahlia noir sounds fab.
Hello lovely! Loved this! I had Shalimar in the 80/90’s, not bought recently due to reformulations…hate that! Love Dalia noir so much, the others, have not tried. Thank you for this! Best wishes, Anna. ❤️
Hello Gabi!!!! Excellent video!!! Thank you !!! You have a special way of describing perfumes !!It is like .. I can almost smell them!!!You look gorgeous!!!I love vintage perfumes!!! This is my jam!! One of my favorite perfumes is Angel's dust!! I also love Shalimar!!!Perfumes from a different era! 💗
Youre so much fun to watch. I remember when I was 17 , celebrated valentine with my first boyfriend, I stole my mom's perfume estee lauder knowing 😂😂😂😂😂 , OMG should I bring it back to 2024??? Love your lipstick
My grandmother’s favorite perfume was Shalimar ( for special occasions) and she wore White Shoulders for everyday wearing. This would’ve been in the 60’s and 70’s and beyond. My parents absolutely hated both of those and they have her such a hard time when she wore either when she came for a visit. I always loved both! I’d like to have a bottle if only to smell and remember her by. I purchased a full bottle of White Shoulders in an antiques shop about 8-10 years ago in the original box and containing a small sample bottle of a similar scent designed for use in the bath. Idk how old it is but I’d say it’s at least from the 60’s. It still smells wonderful and perfect. I spritz it in the air from time to time …❤ BTW, what version of Shalimar do you own? I didn’t realize that it contained a leather note. I always enjoy your posts. Love your vibe!
Shalimar is the queen of perfumes, in my personal opinion! She is timeless and elegant and sexy and always, always beautiful. If I could only have one perfume (perish the thought) it would be Shalimar! Edited to add: Claude is the perfect name for a cat! He's magnificent, as are all cats.
Hello Gabi🖤, I never find vintage or vintage style fragrance boring. They take one on a journey and don't fall flat. Your look today is femme fatal, and it's gorgeous! Thanks for your video, I enjoy them so much! ~ Jenn
Hi Gabi! This was fabulous 💓YES I am a Shalimar Girl. OMG Blowback! my mind was blown to another universe those were the days😉Thanks for the video 😍👯♀️
My flapper girl Gabi. Shalimar was my yesterday's scent 😁 I love vintage everything and love your choices, even when I never smelled the fragrances you mention, because I trust you taste, that I identify with. Lately I've been completely obsessed with Portrait of a Lady and a similar one, with the same vibe Eau Capitale by Dyptique. Have you tried it? I'm totally addicted. It has take me on a journey. Initially it is very similar to Portrait, than the green comes in and it is like the discontinued L'Eau de Chloé, very green and the drydown is the most intoxicating oud with a very sofisticated feel. I love it and it's probably be my Valentine's perfume for a ride with my husband 😉 this year one of my goals in perfumery is to smell Francesca and Papillion perfumes. A big big kiss my darling. 😍😘❤️
@@thefragrantician it's similar just in the opening. It's a chypree green and oudy and I love it very much. Portrait is a masterpiece, dark, deep, warm and I much prefer it. Can't live without it anymore. 😘😍❤️
Missed you so much, Gabbi! I really want to get a hold of angle’s dust. Canada sucks for retail options so it will have to be a blind buy or secondhand purchase. Shalimar smells a bit like Musc Ravageur. Am I crazy for thinking that?
In Canada you can purchase from a shop in Vancouver called Perfume Shoppe Canada. They have a webpage. I have also bought Papillon from them as they are an official reseller for those two brands. I have requested samples with my purchases and they usually come through with about 3 when I buy a full bottle of perfume from them. I hope this helps if your interested in those brands.
@@Jenn_N I think I might have come across that site. But thanks for the tip. We definitely have less options than Europe and shipping fees are probably awefully expensive if we order from overseas...
@@Jenn_N thank you so much. I have come across them on the web but at that time didn’t see samples to purchase before buying full bottles. Been a while since I last checked will definitely revisit the site again 😊🙏🏽
Hi Gabby! I just discovered your channel... Was directed to you by another YTer but I can't remember who! (or I would thank them). I get the sense that our styles are very similar! My family has always referred to me as an old soul and I feel as if I was born in the wrong era. I'm 45 so I was a 90's teen and was wearing Shalimar when everyone else was wearing bubble gummy stuff. 😆 Glad to find you and I look forward to your future videos. I am now going to delve into your archives! I already saw one about Gothic fragrances that I'm looking forward to. 😉
I could listen to you talking about perfumes for hours... your videos are captivating. Thank you for sharing ❤
Wow, thank you!
I can hear Claude purring 😻He loves it too
This look is outstanding for you and Dahlia Noir, yes

Hera totally is, a masterpiece. Just like anything that Liz creates. I love Angel's Dust, too - boudoir scent for a fallen angel.
I love that analogy Petra 😄

I am a Shalimar, L'Heure Bleue and Mitsouko girl of course, but now I am searching for that Tuberose Monotheme and I cannot find it anywhere!
Oh no!! I got mine in marks, and Spencer in the UK.
What a seductive array!! I like Francesca Bianchi perfumes because a lot of them seem very vintagey. I've got Sticky Fingers.
Wonderful!I love all Francesca Bianchi scents too
