I guess that cars have right now much more control over the charing and discharging process. Especially if vehicle is equipped with Start/Stop feature and recuperation while braking. To extend battery life car should know details about the battery. Tt least I hope so... 😉

Pro tipy: - adaptacji wymagają akumulatory z AGM (chyba we wszystkich ze start/stop samochodach) - u mnie akurat tego nie trzeba było robić. - radio jeśli jest fabryczne (z jakim samochód wyjechał z salonu) nie wymaga podawania kodu po wymianie aku. - błąd ESP oraz kąta skrętu np. od skrętnych ksenonów można usunąć na postoju po odpaleniu samochodu, trzeba skręcić maksymalnie kierownicę w jedną i drugą stronę :)

Dzięki za video. Ja dopiero jak kupiłem akumulator zorientowałem się, że potrzebuję wersję pro do OBD11. Trochę to wkurzające, że nie ma dedykowanej apki jak np do resetu inspekcji olejowej. U mnie akumulator EFB padło po (sic!) 2,5 roku (aku z 2019 roku) i raptem 34 tysiącach km i to podobno super firmy Moll. Uszkodzenie celi a ASO się oczywiście wypięło bo akumulator ma 2 lata gwarancji. Zmieniłem na Bannera (też EFB) o pojemności 75Ah (z oryginalnych 69Ah). Wszyscy co go mają chwalą, ze się wkłada i się zapomina o problemie i pali nawet diesle w największe mrozy. 1. Dla akumulatorów AGM i EFB zostawiamy opcję fleets (pieron wie co to znaczy ale chyba z niemieckiego). Myślałem o AGM ale wszędzie piszą i mówią, że AGM nie znoszą temperatur powyżej 50 st. Niby mam tą skarpetkę i rzeczywiście izoluje ale mam od nowości wyłączony S/S, więc wolę kupić super EFB i spać spokojnie niż martwić się, że wyschną mi cele po długiej jeździe i akumulator za ponad 600 zł pójdzie w diabły. 2. Ja wpisałem kod producenta BA2 (Banner). 3. Numer seryjny akurat miałem (spisałem) z nowego akumulatorem i wszedł bez gadania. Ważne aby był inny niż ten na akumulatorze jaki wyciągamy z auta. Dajmy tym samym sygnał autu, że ma nową baterię. I tak będzie się jej uczył. W live data są informację jak z dobrego testera i ładowarki. Oporność wewnętrzna, prąd ładowania i SOH oraz SOC. 4. Pojemność nowego akumulatora zwiększyła się z 69Ah (oryginał) do 75Ah. Więc taka informacją musi się znaleźć w komputerze. Save i działa. Żadne kody BEM nie są potrzebne. Wystarczy spojrzeć co składa się na taki kod. Nie ma tam np informacji o pojemność nowego akumulatora. Jest to dobre może w ASO kiedy serwisant zaczytuje QR kod z obudowy i programuje komputer, jednakże w ASO wymieniają 1:1 (jak było 69 Ah to w nowym też tyle będzie) ale cena w ASO wymiany np mojego akumulatora -1500 zł LOL. Tak więc posługiwanie się BEM kodem jest dobre jak trafimy gdzieś identyczny akumulator. BEM się nie przyda jeśli zmieniamy pojemność a większość nowych aftermarketowych akumulatorów ma większe pojemności. Problem z wieloma akumulatorami i samochodami jest taki, że akumulatory nie są doładowywane do 100% ale do ok 80%, zwłaszcza w autach z rekuperacją energii (zrozumiałe) ale VAG wylewa dziecko z kąpielą i często w autach bez rekuperacji też akumulatory są niedoładowane. Dodajmy jakiś mróz i aku traci napięcie, gęstość i pojemność - śmierć. Coś też jest na rzeczy z Moll'em/ Dwóch moich znajomych wymieniało identyczne akumulatory na gwarancji (w Skodzie), mnie się nie udało. Dostali Exide.
also important to make sure the battery chemistry is actually the same the factory battery is a lower model than the newer Bosch batteries that you can buy as a replacement
Did your car fail to start? 279A quite low. I have a B8 Passat 5 years next month and it’s only down to 400A but i still get warnings on cold mornings like parking brake error, start stop error etc when cranking. I’m guessing i should get a couple more years out of it?

I changed the battery to my golf 7 1.6 tdi, I bought the varta e39 battery, but the battery doesn't show the QR code or the battery's serial number... what do you advise to do in this case?It should be noted that I changed the serial number that was there with 10 digits with the number 1 and put 10 digits with the number 2, did you do well?
Changing the all 1 serial number to any other 10 digit serial will tell te car the battery is replaced. It does not really matter if it is a correct serial number.

My 19’ Seat Leon Fr 1.5 TSI has the EFB battery i am planning to change my battery soon because voltage is dropping down very quickly when the car is not running and like 2 week ago when i started the car, car did not perform Cold Start and gave some errors like EPC light Stop&start error, ACC error
AGM battery are not designed to work under the bonnet even whit special insulation "sock". High temperature will dry (above 50 deg C) will dry glass cells and battery will die. That's why AGM batteries are mounted far away from engine or are located in well ventilated area of engine compartment. In VAG battery is on the back of air filter box and above of transmission. Not the best place for AGM. I made this mistake i my Leon 5F MY2019 (EFB i killed and was my fault). No i replaced it to Banner EFB. I removed S/S so EFB will by fine for me.
sounds a good idea and I nearly did that this week till I read the my 2019 VW with an AGM battery is not located where my EFB battery is (under the bonnet)! They locate it in the boot to keep the temp lower. AGM batteries do not like heat! Don't do it!

Its possible, there is probably some special company in your country which can do it. Most likely you will need some hardware changes as well
As far as I know it's possible but Cruise Control needs to be activated with FEC/SWaP code in module 19-Gateway.

It starts but occasionally I get ACC and EPB errors for couple seconds.

Always buy AGM batteri for the G7, dont buy EFB (which is the original batteri). Change to AGM in battery type.
