Why does it run with one engine up?
Gotta 26' 1953 Chris Craft Continental(lake boat only!) Named "Rebekah Renee". Now I need a Navy blue metallic and silver metallic Midnight Express 43 Open with quad Merc 450R hanging off the stern. "Rebekah Renee II".

These boats are badass but do people just have them to go fast? Are they going someplace - like to a yacht or an island or something? Or fishing? I’m just kind of confused on their purpose.

Midnight has some upcoming announcements, keep your eyes out! All the high end 59/60 ft center console makers have been talking with the 600 ide in mind - keep in mind the 600's are not 'racing' engines.
They aren’t meant for this application. But who knows if they make some changes.

I’ve always wondered why boats are designed today with the bow pointing downward. It can’t be beauty before function. It looks dangerous and it is dangerous. Boats need broad shoulders to manipulate inlets. Of course an experienced captain helps too.
I agree, tends to be trendy. A case of form over function. Where I live in Australia most of the bar crossings are unmarked and there is always a break to contend with. Hence every boat as a tall prow. A boat can be long and quick but the crest of waves in the break won't care.
