What an awesome performance live of this song that was, this was my favourite on the album urban hymns and i brought the album for the other tracks i loved so getting this song on it without even knowing it was such a great surprise
He was (probably rightly) pissed that RA nicked most of the publishing from UH. RA is still living the high life off the proceeds while McCabe had to sell all his music equipment on eBay and works in a music college.
@@Macxermillio Yeah, he was a lecturer somewhere or other. He sold all his Verve gear to fans over Facebook in 2014 and more stuff on eBay after that. I saw his MPC3000 on there a few years later (it had his name on the start up screen) and messaged him through there, lol. Up til Urban Hymns, all songs were credited to The Verve, so they all got a cut, but on UH Mad Richard changed the publishing to him being sole songwriter on nearly all the tracks, so would've got the large proprtion of cash from t'album.
