Very good explanation on the lower velocity from the too large of a chamber. This is the first time I've seen a .50 bmg shot from a 12 gauge. Did NOT know it was possible!
The diameters fit, the general issue is that shotgun shell primers are much softer than high caliber round primers, so the firing pin doesn't strike as hard in a modern shotgun compared to a .50. Gun is more likely to soft strike than it is to fire.
So if you shot someone close range with a .50 cal from a 12g it is likely CSI would think they were shot from a REALLY long distance away with a .50 cal .. that could make a GREAT episode!

HEAVY METAL GOES INTO MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE
Great video, no bull, no intro, all over in the first 7 seconds.
Perfect
I believe that was just bird shot. for the actual .50 bmg they secure it to wood and use string to pull the trigger.

Purging got to a whole new level
Did anyone else consider the highly unlikely possibility that one would fire..gun would spin back..and then the other would go off 😗
that was my immediate thought when i saw the gun fly back and dangle by the string. that was super dangerous.
precisely my thoughts as well...
Thats not possible if the Primer works it goes off when Hit if it not works nothing happens but a Primer thats not wotking is extremly rare inside the Primer is 1 Gramm of Nitroglycerin
Yep i just thought of that and was scared af .
That’s why men live shorter than women
Best gun RUclips channel.
2:43 (thing) haha no one can beat me! (Gun) nope (thing disappears)
8:23 fortunately for him, both shots got out simultaneously. If one got off early, and the second one after the shotgun flipped 180 degree, that could be catastrophic.
We could only hope!...
@@willielongbotham7156 whats wrong with you bro lol
the recoil would not have been that bad so they would probably be fine
Oh, could it ? No say fr like someone else ain’t say that shit. Straight faces
That setup for the 2 .50 at the same time was insanely dangerous. Using those bungee cords flipped the gun back towards them. Had the second shot not fired right away it could have been pointed back at them when it did go off. *Edit time stamp 8:20
Yeah what do you expect from these guys?
