3:09 Not that Gage is gonna see this, but in Edison format it is ruled that if you tribute a monster with a mandatory effect when sent to gy (i.e. Sangan/Goblin Zombie) to summon a monster with a mandatory effect that activates on summon (i.e. Caius), the monster in GY MUST be CL1, as "X monster is sent to gy before Y is summoned to field". This is only not the case if using Soul Exchange to tribute your opponent's sangan/goblin zombie, Chain Link would be reversed (CL1 Caius CL2 Sangan/Zombie).

I'm a extreme Yugi Boomer, and im coming from alot of your videos talking about modern yugioh. I just wanna say as someone who hasn't touched the game in years, I can actually follow along with everything that is happening here, vs modern yugioh where its 30 cards a turn and I have no idea what any of them do. I really miss this era of Yu Gi Oh, I think Edison Format is really good. Like this really is peak yugioh.

They got edison on nexus too now. Ive been playing it a bunch. Its interesting to build with such a reduced card pool.

@@hxppytriggerNo, SEGOC is what mandates it being CL1. First thing to happen is Goblin Z hitting the GY so it must be CL1. Same with Sangan.
