- The Filipino athletes who represented the country in the Paris Olympics were given a hero's welcome upon their return home on Tuesday night (August 13).
Holding the Philippine flag as they emerged from the plane were two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and boxer Nesthy Petecio, who earned a bronze in the just-concluded games.

Management ni Caloy? Good luck with securing prospective promotions. Based upon the comments that I have read in the comsec, countless pinoys are unhappy with Carlos and his GF. So who’s going to purchase any product that Carlos will endorse if he shows no respect to his family???
The following are examples of comments that I have read:
1) Babatuhin daw si Carlos. Cguro sa parade?
2) If the GF sasama sa float, they will throw a “hot dog” sa kanya.
3) Kong sasama si Gf sa float, they will throw a “tomato” sa kanya.
So good luck! Because of socmed, information is reached by millions and millions of pinoys.

it could have been better if the adult reception party gave and allowed the awaiting children at the red carpet tarmac a full hugs, handshake and selfie because they waited on Carlos Yulo; to have given the children thar privilege to be near Caloy would be an inspiration for their future endeavors and dreams; i felt a strange selfishness on the part of the adult reception party; what a shame; a hero does not pass through people's lives often; i hope those who organized the airport arrival of Caloy be more mindful of what the children are in now and the future; stop and hesitate to think of the children and not your own selfishness on whar Caloy will financially bring; i would feel ashamed if i was to eat at reception buffet and knowing there were hungry children outside the buffet reception room; think about it; God bless the children who waited on the red carpet tarmac and i know how they feel being sidestepped 😢
