Nice running video. Nice upgrades. I fixed the doors in back opening by applying two small invisible straps of box packing tape. It is extremely strong, invisible, and fixed the issue.
Hey buddy, are those the class 1 (4.19 inch, 110mm) BFG Km3 tyres or the 4.75 inch version? Also, could you please let me know where you bought the driver?
@110RCSCALETALES thanks for getting back to me. I was just wondering which size KM3 you were using as they come in 2 sizes. I like what you did with your FJ40 and I'm hoping to replicate the changes you made as much as possible.
Nice rig. I've just bought one. What size driver did you go for? He looks perfect. 1/10 scale is too small. I think a 10 ½ inch would be perfect. Where did you buy your driver?
Thanks ! The figure is a 1/6 DoD figure , to fit him I removed the the lower half of the body and legs . I reattached the clothes filling the legs with stuffing. This allowed me to seat the driver and position the legs in the footwells of the model . It also allows the figure to move when the wheel turns or the vehicle bumps. I’m going to make a video soon about figures as the wrong size spoils the look of a truck .
Thanks, the driver is a character from saving private Ryan and he is made by DoD Dragon of Dreams. A bit of modification and I got him to fit but he looks perfect and realistic too
I’m actually using a 1/6 (12”) DOD figure I removed legs stuffed the figures trousers with stuffing then reattached the upper body The figure then can sit more naturally and the legs can be positioned properly . Works well 1/10 figures are far too small (6” 7”)
Very nice filming location and vehicle
