We have 38!! Yes I said 38. It is so much work, but yeah I just love a fresh home. My husband made all the homes. I hate to call them cages. They have very large set ups. We buy hay from a local farm. They are quite spoiled but loved sooo much.
I just did a quick clean today -cleaned his piggy room yesterday and omg. The amount of 💩 was like 😳😩😂 it’s funny tho bc the shape like actual lil turds. All clean today…jus to do it all again tm haha
Oh my gosh---with my skinnies, Harriet and Clementine. poop fest is the theme every day! What I love though, are the popcorns they do when I spot clean or do a full clean and have to laugh, my girls home stays clean maybe 5--naw, more like 2 minutes,lol! Pictures are quick!
I am glad that you do show the real messy side to having them, I think people might feel judged if they have a messy enclosure but that is the reality and showing different cleaning techniques can help others
Definitely! If they aren't getting the proper care of their living areas being cleaned it'll get messy and smelly quick. Not cleaning their spaces for a while can also leave them at more risks for getting sick or developing infections that can very well be life threatening. But if their areas are cleaned often smells shouldn't be a problem, lots of people believe rabbits are smelly but most of the time that's just their cages or pens being uncleaned.
It is all worth it to see my 10 Guinea pig loves exploring there clean cage, I always give them treats because they are so good while I clean. They are my world .❤
When I used to be guinea pigs for fun, I used to have like 22 of them in a big giant cage like yours except with dividers. I remember deep cleaning every week. It would take me at least three hours cause I said bunny is in different cages and one time I went to summer camp before I left. I was being a smart ass. Ask my mom do you want me to write down the names what they look like their genders so if something happened, you know who goes who She goes she goes no and one first day away falls into the cage and I come back from camp. My guinea pigs are pregnant.
I was begging my parents and grandma for a puppy and on Christmas morning I opened one of those cheap electronic puppy dogs that bark and wag their tail. I should’ve been more specific! But that was the easiest dog I had to care for 😂 Thanks for clarifying! HE MAKES A HUGE MESS THO!! I clean him twice and sometimes three times a day. I will not have my animals in filth. they come from bad places and in my home all are safe and clean and seen by vets on the regular. PLEASE DO NOT GET A ANIMAL IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD PROPER HOUSING AND VET CARE!! GOOD QUALITY FOOD AND CLEAN WATER!! I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my pets and care for them. I love my little fat boy skinny. I am going to get another one from what I understand it isn't good to just have one by himself.
I think it's awesome that you own so many. I own 3 😂. Umm idk if sanitizing the cage with them in there is harmful or not but if you searched it up then don't mind me😅. I just wanted to make sure that you know if it's harmful or not for them to be around chemicals like that but it might be safe idk. But anyways love you vids❤😊
I sanitize with 50/50 water and white vie age which is completely safe for them to be around. I am always mindful not to spray it directly near them though as that wouldn’t be very kind 😅

When I was kid, myy piggy I use to have would popcorn and squeal when he see me take out cleaning supplies knowing its deep cleaning day lol

what is the spray you're using, we just vacuum and wash the liner
50/50 vinegar and water! It’s a must to sanitize as you need to kill the germs/bacteria 🦠
