We must understand our emotions if we are to overcome in the intensifying war for our future. The heart (mind) and emotions can be a battlefield that either resists or brings freedom to our actions. The enemy desires to impact our emotions in such a way that our hope and expectation is removed. So, unless our desires are aligned with God’s purposes they can be used to war against our destiny. Now is a time to stand firm in our present moment, look at our past, and choose to embrace the good future the Lord has for each of us.
