is there a way to sign up for notification when it is back in stock? I have been trying to get them since the nick burns video but they are always out of stock when I check 😢
Sick flying. One thing I find pretty effective is to take a separate hoodie and put your radio inside of it while you're flying so that there's nothing restrictive on your fingers and they all stay warm. It isn't perfect but it works lol
Evan, your latest videos are so good and on point! Love your new stick ends, solved a problem I had but wasn't fully aware of. They fly so nice. I've always used a transmitter glove for the cold, which work pretty well but these gloves look interesting. Keep the videos coming!
You sold me. Since once I get my FR8 build done I'm going up into the mountains. Hell Independence pass still has snow everywhere in July. So it would be nice to have something to make it not horrible.
Great review video. Look like decent gloves. With the cold weather and arthritis, I need to try and keep my hands warm. I've been using the Hyperion heated transmitter glove. My hands don't freeze and they're out of the wind. Must use a neck strap to keep clear vinyl front cover off your hands and radio. Ideal setup, No, but it works. Happy flying everyone 😎
Things get really cold here, much much below freezing. For our temperatures I found the gloves like that just aren't effective. What is effective is those big pizza box style transmitter gloves and then I tape an electric hand warmer (like a certain brand that made this Handy Heater product..) inside and preheat it while traveling to wherever I'm flying.
Excellent informative video as always!! Your last vid or so you mentioned “Do you have any ideas for new content” Forgive me if you have already covered this, Flying test with Noise cancelling headphones Verses no headphones!! I find I fly better in the sim with the volume down low. Yet to try it in real life. & love the Little Flipper my 1st 3.5” freestyle quad & LOVE the Ball bearing thumb sticks ! Definitely improved my flying. I’m trying to squeeze a quick review of both items.
Ha! I flew yesterday morning and it was 12 degrees. I use a pair of thermal finger gloves with another pair over the top that have fingers cut off. The feel isn't like warm weather and just hands but it's manageable. By the way, battery life really bites!
@@headsupfpv the brand name is serius, Seirus Thermalux Heat Pocket Glove Liner. I also have a pair of bar mits, the things snowmobilers and cyclists put over handlebars that I've also used.
I opt for a cheap transmitter glove from your favorite online retailer. It is essentially a sherpa coat for your whole radio and hands. However, anything on or near the hands will have an effect on the stick feel/hand mobility. I think the average user will have to adjust to either hand-warming solution. Happy 2025 from STL ya'll
We were laughing at these a few weeks back… and then the temperature dropped to -2C on a weekend we were flying and on those days that $80 would have been well worth it
I got a pair of heated fingerless gloves from Temu. Works great and less than $20. However this doesn’t fix how easy it is to break a drone during below freezing flights.
I don’t like having anything on my hands while flying . Another option would be a transmitter glove but those are awkward getting your hands in and out of . Probably best to just move to Florida lol
@@headsupfpv I think I saw some on their website. Honestly one of the best products I bought for FPV, I love how much care they take for each order. Just bought a set of motors which are great and the quads look good too (bardwell loved the last one he tried ;) ).
Thanks no. No way I put my precious hands into something from TEMU that includes a heating device and batteries that have every chance to catch fire when I look at them.
The best way to fly when it's cold??? Whoops. Inside. Lol Ps. Still would like a video on throttle control drills. Throttle control is my worst enemy. As an old guy with arthritis in fingers, the fast movements can be difficult.
New stock should be available in twoo weeks. We made the cutout on the thumb a little larger to make them less restrictive.
Awesome!!! Thanks for making an awesome product

@@headsupfpv thanks for the nice review (and all the other great content you push out currently)!
Would it be effective to have the thumb grip on the radio be warm also?
@spb1179 i don't understand: do you mean heated stick-ends?

This is a great idea!
Astounding! You guys are crushing it with those heated gloves!

I appreciate the support ! Thanks for watching and glad you like Omni sticks!
I was wondering how well these gloves worked, great video, thanks 💯♥️👌👌

I need to get a pair of these! Great video
You should!
Thanks for the Review!

I need to try that Hyperion glove !
I like to fly in the car with heat on in the car 😂🤫👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This works 🤣
beard game on point. the gloves look sick. reminds me of the power glove from nintendo
Trying to have a beard like you!
Good stuff

Where was Carter at champs??? He is ripping 🔥
He is sooooo good. This is his year at champs for sure

I will absolutely try this ! Very interesting take . Glad you like five33 products and would love to see a review !
Why was the drone blurred out at 1:50?
It’s a prototype frame!
@ ah gotcha.

Flying in 12 degrees sounds sooooo rough. Which gloves do you use?

Are the fingers heated? Or is it just the palms/back of hands that are heated?
I believe the fingers are heated or at least it feels like the are !

You can wear a medium glove Evan?
I believe its medium in rubber quads glove sizing !
Rippin in the cold
They have been sold out for months now. Only reviewers have them. I've never seen them available yet.
Same, my gf wanted to buy me them for Xmas but no luck.
Supposedly stock coming soon!
Just look up fisherman gloves. They are not heated but probably the least restrictive glove that will keep your hands warm
I will check them out !

I think most cold weather gear works exactly like this hahaha. $300 jacket?!? Never. Then all of the sudden it sounds amazing when you’re cold lol

Do you have a link to them?

@@VladTepes44 At this price no battery inside you power it with a powerbank or usb charger 5V 2A :/ I'll try it and tell you if they're so bad ^^
Let me know how they are!

Hahaha it is the worst
Cold? Haaaahaaaa.
I knew someone would say this hahaha

For $80 I can pay some kid to hold a heater over my hands while I fly 😆
🤣🤣🤣
