This is probably the strangest story time I have about a fragrance EVER!! 😂 I hope you found it interesting and enjoyed it nonetheless. Please let me know your thoughts and if you enjoy story times?

This makes so much sense. It was suggested to me to take fenugreek supplements to boost my milk supply for breastfeeding but after lots of research, many moms said their armpits smelled like maple syrup! Also, I lit a Maple Bourbon candle which to me smelled like caramel cookies but once my husband walked into the house he asked if I made curry for dinner! It’s so fascinating what different noses smell and perceive!
The idea of it smelling like curry is my only worry , especially with the stereotypes . I get the coffee and caramel maple syrup , love it
Bought a full bottle in december so I def got the 2023 batch and while I'm unable to smell it to its fullest due to covid I can def say that I sprayed it on my hand then proceeded throughout the day with my business. I could smell something on my hand, coffee for the most part and that smell stayed ever after 2 days of washing lol.
Gave my friend 5 ml as a decant and he told me his experience was up and down, with some saying that he smells amazing due to the coffee notes, while other were pointing out that they can either smell something burning or that curry thing.
The only conclusion I can draw is that not everyone has their nose attuned the same way so opinions will vary.
i got a sample of it from ministry of scent, and it’s still strong! i applied two sprays one behind each ear. at first, it was fantastic with the coffee smell! but after i got a little sweaty from work one of my co-workers/friends complained it smelled like maple syrup. the next day, after i did a workout it changed into a curry-like smell. it’s been like two days now. i tried spraying different scents on it but i don’t know when it will go away.
Whenever i wear followed people always scream "somebody smell like syrup" 😂.... ill take that because i love syrupy scents
I had the same comment today off my neighbour. He askdd "have tou made a curry?" 😂
I replied " I think it might be my aftershave".
He said the smell was really strong and we were 2 meters apart.
I haven’t smelled this perfume but I can tell you that another RUclipsr suggested taking Fenugreek supplements as a natural deodorant and of course I tried it. She said her armpits smelled like maple syrup. She wasn’t lying, however…….. when I tried it, I smelled like maple syrup mixed with something else. And indeed it was a curry like/body odor smell. It was just so off-putting to smell like syrupy sweet body odor. It smells like that from the bottle too when you start to study the smell of fenugreek. Her nose didn’t pick up on the curry/body odor scent like my nose did. It can also be one’s body chemistry that enhances a particular part of the smell/molecule.
Glad I only got a sample of the followed because it ended up smelling like fenugreek on my skin and my friends kept on saying that 😁
Hey I have this fragrance! I got told by one of my brown friend it smells like methi (fenugreek) and curry. Others said I smelt like I worked in a coffeeshop and that I smell like a canadian $100 bill (it smells like maple when you scratch them)
I'm so sorry sweetheart but this is so funny😂😂😂😂 I find it so facinating that, i'm sorry but i dont know how to say it otherwise, 'western people' find the smell of fenugreek SWEET. I'm from The Netherlands but i have Moroccan roots and i (and everyone i know) find the smell of fenugreek just VILE. Maple syrup???? WHERE?????? When we eat something with fenugreek in it, we just know we're going to avoid each other the next morning 👀 Omg the BO smell the day after is just...😭😭😭😭 The thought of paying €160 to smell like fenugreek makes my stomach turn...

I always order samples, I LOVE kerosene & have no issue with the fragrance but people around me seem to 🫣

Don’t be scared 😂❤️❤️ It truly is a masterpiece, Try & order a sample everyone’s nose & skin is different that’s why i’m soo interested in hearing more opinions on it!

it smells of CURRY, due to Fenugreek seeds used in construction of maple syrup.
Thats the problem with this perfume.. i smell caramel + coffee .. others smell fenugreek or curry..

Eternal. you have to wash it off! Sillage & projection is enormous. no exaggeration.

OMG I am so happy I never got the curry smell with any perfume as of yet, but I actually have with 2 body lotions! One was a salted caramel lotion and the other was Bath and body works fireside flurries I literally cannot wear this lotion lol😅 I always wanted to try followed but now I’m a bit hesitant.
Oh and to add, I also asked my sister if she liked the fireside flurries lotion, without mentioning the curry smell to her, and the first thing she said was “This smells like curry!”😂😭

The fragrance is a hit until it triggers accusations of curry cooking from my friends. Guess I'll have to be careful where I wear it!.
So happy you’ve don’t this video, Bcos this WAS on my to buy list. I’m staying away now. I hate the smell of fenugreek as it reminds me of a mix of strong curry and liquorice. Love eating curry; hate liquorice (fullstop lol) and wouldn’t want to smell of either.
