As expected of our “elite operators” 2 - not much here to add tbh. 3 - Zuo Le is a Sui overseer. They are a group who watch where the siblings go, because obviously, bored gods can lead to problems. (Unfortunately, he is not the free one. He is a 6* together with Shu. Speaking of… 4 - Shu is the sibling number 6. The middle child who can easily play the older sister role to make the younger ones listen as well as play the role of younger sibling, to get the older ones to listen to her. She has nearly all of her family wrapped around her. 5 - Ascalon is a top operator in S.W.E.E.P. The cleanup crew. Sidenote, she was literally found as an infant by a group of mercs that went under control of Babel. Her character song is about wanting for the day when S.W.E.E.P. is no longer needed. But at the same time, S.W.E.E.P. is all she has. 6 - Wiš’Adel. Our cockroach Sarkaz now has a name of her own and much like her theme it expands on what is already there. In this case, It’s a sequel to RENEGADE.
*Note for 1: Their skills may be simple, But the skills are also above average. Pith boosting ALL Casters on the field, Sharp doing 300% Damage (Benefited by boosts a lot). Bullseye having 50% Uptime on "Attacks 4 times lol". Touch heals multiple people across half the freaking map, And very quickly. Passives are also above average. Bullseye trigger chance is much higher than Greythroat (15% to 25%), **AND** Does more damage (150% to 200%) Sharp having a very sizable attack boost, And a great 30% Dodge chance. Pith's 20 Res Ignore is very high, Considering Goldenglow is only 15 Ignore. Touch. Broken. A huge amount of targeted SP generation.

I fully agree with you on the Ascalon theme, its really missing the release. It builds and builds and then kind of fizzles out. You're expecing a grand chorus and it just never gets there.

although it had been 8 months from thies video, i would like to explain Shu s character. She is a benevolent semi-god-like being. She was adopted by a god of agriculture, learnt everything about agriculture. She had seen people suffered from famine, so she throw herself into the agricultural bureau in this fictional country and contribute a lots. The lyrics is mostly about wishing for good weather for the crops, praising sceneries and things in the nature in a poetic style. I think the golden colour of her hands represent rice, haevest. Her character is possibly inspired by a repectible academician in China, he is Yuan Long Ping 袁隆平, finder of a super productive hybrid rice breed.
Have you checked out the 15 minute CG animation for W, called The Daggers' Inheritors? It's genuinely fantastic, and truly shows how far HG's come in their animations. Not sure if I can link it, but there's a specific vid out there where someone translated the subs. It's not clean, but it's better than nothing.

yep me too, not a fan of Ascalon theme for me i like music that are easy to sing and jam along but this theme feels like i am not singing when I jam along with it. Well, i still don't know her story so i might missing some context and elements to appreciate the music fully
Love elite ops theme. Shu's theme, honestly, is beyond my expectations, what a great song. Ascalon's, hm, there's definitely something wrong with it, doesn't work for me. As for W, this is for sure renegade 2. Enjoyed most of it, i'm a sucker for this deep atmospheric effect in background. Just not a fan of rap bits and rap in general, for some reason it's always boring. Unless it's not a mix of rap with metal (something like P.O.D. - Youth of the Nation or Fire From The Gods - Excuse Me).
i mostly feel the same, only real rap i like personally that i have found is NF because its a song and a for of story telling at the same time which is very unique and skill full, its just a very mentally stimulating form of music in a way that just good melody cant scratch fully, instead of going down on the melody its all in the lyrics
