Hey mate, I have a 2008 Meriva. I bought a cheap Bluetooth radio to replace the standard double din cd player. After much messing round I bought a new harness adapter an Fakra adapter for the aerial. I’m so close to getting this job boxed off but just can’t figure out how to sort the red power cable to the cigarette lighter. Can you help?
Just wish you ran through a few more of the cables between radio to car. I guess more in the sense of a tutorial with this perticular car. The question I have for you is how is the cables between the cars stock harness and the connects2 box handled. For the kit they aren't the cheapest but and willing to go for it knowing more so how it's done 😂. So I'm guessing the connects2 box comes with a smaller harness to go between itself and the smaller pins on the stock car harness. This is due to it being a can high/low signal down to analoge for the radios input?
I'm just about to do a double din upgrade in my daughters 2009 meriva. I'm installing a pioneer avh2400bt. Will I need a special cage as this head unit doesn't look full double din size?
I'm fitting a radio into my Meriva, same year as this one. Does this allow the aux port in the centre by the handbrake to work in the new radio? Thanks.
The correct way would be from the cars internal fusebox but I've seen a lot of people wanting a quick fix run a power from the large red wire at the back of the heater control panel(I do not advise this).
very thorough video, nice one!

Hi, can the two large plastics on the sides of the stereo be disassembled?

No it's redundant.
What is the cable part needed to fit into the radio? As I cannot find the right fitting
What year and country of sale is the car?
My radio isn't working not sure it's the fuse x
Damn these are a lot of parts! Do you have all the part numbers to find them on ebay or amazon?
Do it have a fuse behind it???
Do you know where i can find a 12v switched live on this car?
