If memory serves, the NB550 (with an AMD C-50 APU, not the NB500/505 with Intel CPU shown here) can be upgraded to 4GB RAM, but some modules won't work. Also, the preinstalled Win7 Starter was limited to 2GB anyway, so most people just went to 2GB. I have one that I'm pretty sure I upgraded to 4GB, but I don't have it to hand to check right now. I'm thinking about putting an SSD in it and installing Linux to use as a little "carry everywhere" PC, which is why I'm watching this video. Good work!
@@jameelbasyariaziz This netbook uses the Intel N455 CPU and the NM10 chipset. According to Intel's product page, the CPU can't handle more than 2GB of RAM. This will have been by design, in order to limit the encroachment of netbooks into the normal laptop sector of it's time. I also wouldn't recommend Windows 10 on this old of hardware, newer operating systems tend to use more resources than their previous generations. Windows 7 or a lightweight linux OS works flawlessly with this netbook. Mine is currently using Bunsenlabs Linux, which is derived from Debian and uses on average 150-300MB of RAM in idle.
