Absolutely love this video! Not sure when “cozy games” became a thing but as my wife and I have gotten older, we both have been leaning more towards this genre. Picking up those last three titles you showcased. Top notch video production and narrative as always. Well done, Josh!
I had read about Red Lantern a long time ago, but had totally forgotten about it. The Long Dark is one of my favorite games of all time and this one is def channeling that vibe. And as someone who owns 5 dogs and has had at least 1 husky for as long as I’ve been sharing space with canines this game definitely does it for me on multiple levels.
I loved new super Lucky's tale, 100%ed it on the Xbox after having played the non-new version before and even the original vr game on my Oculus rift cv1 way back. Might be fun to revisit at some point though, might pick it up for steam again if I come across a good deal for it. I've started playing Spyro reignited yesterday myself which seems really fun and cozy as well. Don't know if it will stay this way but so far it seems like a cute not too hard light platformer to play curled up on the couch with my deck.
Great list but now I'm the one who's sick with a cold. I haven't played much since I got sick this Monday I managed to finish Portland in GTA III: Definitive Edition, I can't wait to get better and then get back to Games again.
@@YourPlayer2Thanks Josh, I'm starting to feel a little better now but I need to have extra careful. The Definitive Edition runs great on PS4 (at least for now), I can't wait to play Vice City and San Andreas as well.
Another one to check out is A Highland Song - set in the Scottish Highlands with a music rythym element, some Scottish History, and climbing mountains/hills 🤣
LoL it was so unexpected but honestly I'm glad I got to play it a bit more :) As you can imagine I frequently only get to 'sample' games and only finish a precious few in any given year :p

Universe For Sale is extremely impressive! Great recommendation, gonna show this game to everyone I know.
I LOVE red llantern!!! The gameplay is basic but I love the dogs so much it makes up for it :)
Right? It's JUST the right amount of resource management without feeling tedious or overwhelming and the dogs sure don't hurt either! 🐶

Just played Night Stones. So cozy!

Aw man, hope you feel better soon! Nothing wrong with taking some time to rest and glad you're enjoying the definitive edition!

I found my cozy game for this winter: Tiny Glade
This looks simple and approachable! Wishlisted and I'll see if I can snag the demo sometime soon :)
Dreamscaper is a cozy game.
Added to the wishlist! This looks totally enchanting (and challenging)! Hope you've been well, ghoul!
@@YourPlayer2it's a pound (1 dollar 30) on fanatical atm. I'm good, thanks for asking :). Just juggling the back log haha
Bought you a copy of it. How would I get it to you?
