Always happy to see Lake be mentioned. While I never finished it when I played it on Gamepass it was definitely a game that neatly fits into the weird soft spot I have for the type of mundanity that most cozy games don’t often have. Glad you enjoyed Lost in Random btw! Reminded me that it’s getting a roguelite sequel sometime next year. I’ve been revisiting a game I absolutely adore: Ruiner. Dystopian, cyberpunk action with a gorgeous soundtrack. Not sure if I’ve mentioned it before but I should’ve if I didn’t lol.
It's pretty relaxing! Hoping to get some more time with it when I take some time off here in a few weeks. I think I read that somewhere while I was working on its portion of the video but I'm glad to hear it was well received enough to warrant the follow-up. And great minds! I played Ruiner on the Switch but can't remember if it's already in my Steam Library or not 🤔
Recently i finished silent hill 2 remake in the steam deck, it isnt the perfect experience, but its definetly playable, i had no problem at all, the games performs really well in in almost every part
That's about how I feel about it. I tried to squeeze a slightly higher frame-rate out of it, but honestly I don't mind 30FPS since it's such a cinematic game anyways. Honestly dude I'm just thrilled to finally have a remake of one of my favorite games of all time :)
Glad you liked it! Working on a new video format to test the waters which is about performance testing Silent Hill 2 on the Deck a bit further, though I'm no Digital Foundry over here :p Dude you and me BOTH- I really hope Konami greenlights them to do 1, 3, and 4 next!
Never been a big horror game person, but SIFU looks interesting (frustrating lol). I have heard of it before of curse, but not really looked into it, wishlist! Thanks as always for the vid!

I just got GTA: Definitive Edition for PS4 but I haven't tested it yet, I also got Tomb Raider collection for PS4 but it runs poorly (unless there is a new patch that I don't know about). Yesterday I saw the System Requirements for Spider-man 2 and it looks like my Graphics is a little weak. I regret selling my Switch when I bought my Gaming PC last year but I'm going to get the next Nintendo console when it comes out. I had to stop playing Silent Hill 2 because my PC is getting on my nerves, the Game has lag in some areas, I can't wait to get it next month for PS5.
Hope you have a blast with it when you get around to testing, Miguel! Sad to hear about Tomb Raider though :\ Spider-Man 2 is definitely a looker but I haven't tested it yet on PC, just the original unfortunately. I mean look at it this way, with your Switch sold when you did probably more value for it than had you waited for the successor to drop since it's going to be backward compatible :) Gah, sorry to hear you hit some lag in SH2 but here's hoping more performance patches are inbound. Either way sounds like you'll be enjoying it on PS5 where it did really well in my testing, probably due to dynamic resolution scaling. Take care, dude!
@@YourPlayer2 I will try to test it this weekend, I also added the Tomb Raider Collection for PS5 for my Christmas list. I will definitely get the new Nintendo console when it comes out, I really regret selling my Switch because I miss Mario Kart, hopefully we will have more N64 Games for it as well. Spider-man 2 will come out for PC in January (30th, I think?) I will get it for PS5 as well, I played the original on PC and I loved it. I need to play SH2 again but without lag. Take care, Josh. :)
Dang lost in random looks incredible, too bad it's an EA game i simply refuse to buy games from them since their launcher is completely broken on my desktopb

@ Agreed! The sequel is completely separate from EA too! so no launcher requirements.
