I love how Kaku's move is named "Kirimangyro", a puns on "Kilimanjaro", "Kirin" (Giraffe in japanese) and the english word "Gyro" (for the rotating aspect of the move).
Oda really loves playing on puns for all attacks' names in One Piece
Also shows Kaku's able to come up with move as easily as Luffy can, which is a big deal when you think of how many moves Luffy has invented for what was believed to be a very basic rubber fruit.
Ngl, Kaku would've made a cool SH in some alternate timeline.

Yeah by nearly dying to it lol, he 'stopped' it the same way you stop a grenade by jumping on it. Zoro built different when it comes to the ability to lose blood and stay alive.

I think it's really interesting how in Enies Lobby I really felt like the CP0 crew were goofy looking, but Oda worked hard to make them an imposing threat. However, now with so much road behind us, in Egghead they can be goofier and this time serve as a reminder of how far the Straw Hats have come by giving them a chance to showcase what they've learned since last they met.

Awakening your devil fruit after only 2 years (fastest known in the verse) when you have beings like Kaido who are still unawakened is insane to me. I wonder if it’s because of training, his love for giraffes, the fact that it is tier 3 ( carnivorous like lucci is tier 2 and mythical like Kaido is tier one) made it easier to control or master, or because he had a partner to awaken his fruit with making it easier as well, or a combination of all these things. Even if he isn’t the strongest, also mastering the 6 powers, being the strongest swordsman in cp0, and combining them with his awakened zoan and armament all while not losing his humanity.

Zoro attacked Kaido with so much power and ferocity that Big Mom told Kaido to dodge. Zoro beat King, Kaido's right hand man and worth over a billion belli. Zoro has Conquerer's Haki and can literally terrify Logia users into becoming immobile, allowing him to cut them without using Haki.
Him fighting Kaku is like a hardcore MMA fighter kicking a schoolyard bully around.

Zoro didn't use his against Kaku's awakening, then switched to 2 swords after briefly using it against Lucci. Zoro later asked Luffy why he keeps going all out.

I was genuinely impressed with him over it, ngl - even if you can say 'yeah well it's *just* a giraffe fruit' we got to remember that the *other* awakened Zoans, every last one of them we've seen, has been a nearly mindless Jailer Beast in Impel Down. Lucci and Kaku are the first and then second to ever reach that level on screen/page and we haven't even *heard* of others even.
note - I said 'Zoan' and not 'Mythical Zoan' because it's very reasonable to assume the Mythic Zoan fruits play by different rules.
I like how the rematches were basically just to show us that these guys aren't in the same league as Luffy and Zoro anymore.
