I think the fact that it’s hand painted adds to the effect, since a real vintage checkered cutting board probably would’ve been hand painted! Love it !!
Your projects turned out so good! The cutting board really adds interest and style to the shelf display. Now I want one! Lol. I’m not into Halloween but I do like folk art black cats, jack-o-lanterns and vintage/retro items…(and candy) I love what you did with the painting. Your sweet little ghost reminds me of Casper the friendly ghost!

It’s sort of cathartic to sit and paint . It turned out beautiful and you have way more patience than me ☺️💕. The ghosts are so cute ☺️
