14:18 the rough tends to snag the face closed esp with the uphill lie, happens to me all the time. 16:31 had me rolling "that's so OP" 😂 you had some good up and downs this round - thanks for another great vid! hole-out on the last hole, can't have ended it any better! keep chasing!
used to play this course a bunch when it opened 25ish years ago. those prices on their site ($125 weekday, $175 weekend) are looking a bit steep from what i was used to, even taking inflation into account. still i hope they can find success this time.
My buddies and I used to play there quite often too. I don't remember the prices back then, but it was affordable. $175 on a weekend is crazy. I'd rather play Cinnabar, which is a little cheaper. Seems like all the good courses raised their prices 30 - 40% in the past 12 months. Wente is anywhere from $208 - $218 to play on a Sunday morning. That's just crazy.
@@griffin2765 i remember it being around $30-40 but i could be wrong. was pretty affordable. friends and i would drive down alot from our shitty san jose apartment.... i also remember the course always being empty
@@griffin2765 i remember it being around $40, plus or minus. also remember this course not getting much play.... was always empty when my friends and i would show up. i agree with you about preferring Cinnabar. and man, Wente is a fun course, not $200+ fun.
Definitely the price increase is sticker shock! I feel the prices are too high and even on weekends there are prime spots open like early morning slots. They are pushing that adult community and maybe going that route. I think it's a cool track but it's a little far and high on the price scale to merit the drive.
@@GolfParfection yeah when it opened i remember it costing around $40 and the course was always empty so it made the drive down from San Jose worth it. no way would i drive to pay $175 on a weekend nowadays
Played here yesterday. Its like poppy ridge and cinnabar had a baby. This course isnt anything special for the commute from San Jose and the price. Gonna stick to cinnabar since i do believe it’s cheaper
Used to play this course a lot. Theyd hook it up $45 and cart before the pandemic. Haven't been back since they remodeled. Im sure its not 45 bucks anymore though 🥲

That's freaking cool man.. Really awesome eagle!
Man what a hole out finish to a solid round! You were striking it this round! And man, Hole 4 looked so sick off the tee.
Pure for sure!
What a fantastic round! What a wonderful finish!
Thank you! 🤙
I watch your videos to prepare me for course management in my tournaments and it caught me by surprise to see you playing my home course. Very cool
It's a great track! Hope play for it increases I see that it's fairly open these days tee time wise.
Wonderful course and well played! Really hoping to try this course out soon :)
It's a good one!
Good stuff and what a way to end your round! Enjoy your content
Ty! 🙏
Course looks nice, has a Coyote Creek Valley feel to it.
Awesome!
Love that course. So freaking hard.
what a putt on #6 was clutch and DAAAAANGG WHAT A FINISH! never played there but I need to get out there and play it
It's a cool track! A little pricey and in that "treat yoself" price range but not sure it merits that high price tag. Thanks for watching!
One heck of a finish! #BARG Let's GOoooooooooo
Bump and run let's gooooooo!
Congrats on the hole out
Thank you 🙏
Matt with the Walk-off home run!
BOOM BABY! ⚾️
This time you got to keep your Eagle ball! 🎉🤣
Can't lose your ball if you hole out on 18 🫡🤣

nice video, have you tried twin creeks golf course in salinas
I have not! My radius of courses that I haven't played is starting to expand because I have almost played everything within a 1 hour drive of me haha.
Nice hole out!!
Thanks! Until we swing again brah 💪
i randomly get emails from this course for no reason. i live 2500 miles away. glad to finally see it!
Glad you were able to get a good visual after all this time 🤣
"We're gonna keep it rolling." Proceeds to do multiple cuts 🤔🤔 JK homie 🤣.. Love to see a hole out on the last!
You not wrong 😂 I had to cut our the other 25 "did that go in???" that I said and heavy breathing. Thanks for watching!
Looks like they switched the 9s!
You are correct!
Should have chucked the ball into the water after the hole out, would have made for good content 😂
I didn't want to lose a SECOND eagle ball so this one is safe with me 😂
More accurate with an iron from the fairway than a putter from 3 feet when hitting for eagle…
You are not wrong....

That's absolutely fair 🤙
