There are many habits I want to track - especially daily tasks I tend to avoid that should really be apart of my routine. 👍
More importantly, I had stomach surgery 7 months ago and I struggle with nutritional deficiencies so I really need to monitor my daily intake of supplements as I’m trying to correct chronic problems like being anemic and always low on Vit D.
I thought about using google forms and I knew the data could convert to spreadsheet but I have NO CLUE how to create those queries!
I literally searched for “How to build digital habit tracker with google forms to spreadsheet” and was THRILLED to see your video not only offers just that - but it was made very recently so I know it is not outdated either!
      ♥️👍🥰 THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!
I made sure to like, save to playlist & subscribe!
      Have a Great Week! 🤗😉

UNREAL!! I'm so happy that this truly helped you out. I knew putting it together that it was so unique, that someone would need specifically this. Very dope. That just made my day.

Creating better AM and PM routines. Thanks for making this video! Organization and data really help me get out of my head and into being actionable. I'm definitely going to be telling all my friends.

At 8:57, why not just do A3:A? That would include everything from A3 to infinity. By arbitrarily setting the limit to A500 you're just creating a problem that you'll have to solve in 16 months (and 13 days).

I just moved to a g suite productivity system because notion was overwhelming to me. It’s amazing to see how practical and easy to execute are these spreads. Currently I’m using Google calendar, tasks and keep for organizing my time and Google docs and sheets to study, but I’m going to try this method of habit tracking. Thanks for the amazing video, keep up!

Thanks man. If you’re into that definitely check out Airtable, it’s kind of like Sheets but so much more complex

When you are doing all of the sums, if you type =SUM(A3:A) it will use all cells in the A column to do the calculation including A3 to infinity instead of stopping at 500 without including the label! :)

I really like the idea about a personal habit tracking template. Not a single app out there has fitted me enough to stick with it. But I have a quetion: how would you track integer habits (for example, a habit called "drink water")?

If the variables I went over don't exactly fit your habit structure I would suggest exploring the different functions of Google forms and see what would work better!

Hey Vic, thank you. Great video. I am not a spreadsheet guy but what I have always wanted was a way to set a score for different habits. Say I had ten habits and I ranked them 1-10. Then I inverted the score: 10 points for doing the first, 1 point for doing the last. My total potential score would be 55. My actual might be 45. 82%. That’s my score for the day.
Do you have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

    • @VicLaranja

Yes it’s fully customizable. Me and my friends are all tracking our habits through Airtable this year using the exact same principles.

@@VicLaranja I'm not sure I was clear enough there. Here's my scenario: I'm a health and fitness coach. Consistency of clients healthy habits is a big reason that they come to me, so in addition to the existing coaching that I do I'm looking to add ONE tracker that they can all use to get individual 'progress' visuals/reports/graphs, yet allow me to run reports against them as a whole or individually, to identify a) clear trigger/action/result patterns for them and b) let me see the areas of my coaching which could be improved/leveraged to better help them all.
I realize I'm asking a lot of google forms, but I've been unable to find a solution elsewhere that can provide all this in one place.
      Any guidance massively appreciated.

    where's the template?

    • @VicLaranja
      @VicLaranja  3 года назад

You won’t need a template if you follow the instructions. It’s all dependant on what your personal habits are.
