don't mind me just sobbing right out of this corner! I'm going to miss my witty prof bf! honestly, I've been watching Saku since his Japanese audio days and seeing his most famous baby, the Golden boy of us Crumpets himself, graduate from the channel is definitely bittersweet.
Honestly I thought that he’d be tabled after we learn about his brother and that whole plot line but honestly I like this. It’s more realistic this way. Sometimes we never get closure for some things and we just have to live wondering. But that’s okay. Who knows maybe we will learn more about his brother in the future but for now they are happy, and I’m happy

Ok, i think i spent a whole minute staring at the screen, not having the courage to press play and now I'M CRYING SO HARD and i don't have enough words to describe how I feel. Andrew is my favorite character of all and he will >always and forever< be part of my life, i don't think even i can say how much this whole series means to me, i can only feel it. I didn't understand English, much less speak it. I already wanted to learn, but it was curiosity and interest in understanding what he was saying when i was parachuted into a video on this channel, that gave me the push I needed to try to learn the language. And not only that, but omg, it gave me the courage to keep working on what i'm really passionate about doing, not following what people expect of me. As someone living in the Caribbean (not St Lucia but Tobago!) this video made me so incredibly happy !! Hearing Andrew talk about societal rules such as the illegal camo, the dancing/whining, foods and even the beverages (Ginger Shandy is better fight me 💪), it brought the immersion of the audio to a whole other level for me and other Caribbean supporters which I appreciate immensely. In my mind, I'm just gonna imagine that I'm bringing Andrew back to my home country !! That being said though, to say goodbye to Andrew is bittersweet, to say the least. On one hand, it's sad to see him go but it's good knowing that he was written so beautifully and his character was given the love and attention it needed to flourish into a beautiful story for all of us to enjoy. Today, even though I knew it would happen, time perception deceived me and I thought this series would continue forever, we celebrate the farewell of Andrew Marston, who wrote his name in golden letters in the history of sakuverse (so as not to remember him with sad thoughts later) First of all, in order to make Andrew's importance to me a little more concrete, I will tell the story of how I first met Andrew and my introduction to the fandom. In the 2.5 years I've been in this fandom, the thing I've heard the most is that Andrew's series is the one that introduced Saku to most other people in the fandom. I came here the same way! So unpredictable of me woah I'm not normally someone who likes romance, but Andrew's passion and the fact that he's someone who devoted his mind to literature was not something I could overlook. On the other hand, I was surprised by the fact that he is interested in history and that he knew that history was not just information from the past, but a branch in which there were many factors to be interpreted and many conclusions to be drawn. I've never come across such a deeply thought out character in my life. In addition to these enviable aspects of Andrew, the fact that he grew up in a religious family focused only on academic success has a mentionable social impact on him(in a negative way). I always thought that Andrew's interest in literature (more specifically, poetry) was the sole result of this oppressive family structure. Because although his family thought they were doing what was necessary, Andrew was shown a lack of empathy. His brother loathed him because of his family, his classmates (who were a few years older than him) looked at Andrew as if he's a genius. But until this age, the only thing that knew Andrew as Andrew was literature, the soul impressions in the poems, left by the poets, whose lifes were as complex as Andrew's. He could only explain himself with words with such unattended people around him . When I reached this conclusion, for the first time in my life I was able to relate to a character this much. Because the dozens of writing books on the top shelf of my library were not things I wrote because it was a "hobby",as i tell people . They were my thoughts that I put on paper in order to express, even if just a little, the things I couldn't talk about with those around me .In fact, if I were to add to this, another reason why I am so interested in foreign languages is that I find it irritating to explain myself using my native language. Because I can explain things that I cannot explain in my native language in other languages as if a waterfall is flowing from my mouth. Actually, I didn't want to make this topic long, but... I should also mention the aspect of overcoming so many psychological difficulties (lack of belonging, internal conflict and more) and being able to shed light on many young people with his professorship is truly an incredible skill! I envied Andrew once again 🙃 I've gone on long enough, before the microphone is taken away from me - lol, I want to say my last words Andrew was more than a classical literature professor, or however you describe him now, it is very difficult to limit the character development that Andrew has experienced since the pandemic in sentences. I would like to express my gratitude to Andrew, who accompanied us all these years, and to Saku, who amazed me with his talents (both writing and voice)!!! That's all, my hands are tired

Andrew's story, both as his own character and the one he shared with the listener was just soooooo good. Like, I feel satisfied to the point of joy, this was fantastic and like, I'm glad it's over. Today, even though I knew it would happen, time perception deceived me and I thought this series would continue forever, we celebrate the farewell of Andrew Marston, who wrote his name in golden letters in the history of sakuverse (so as not to remember him with sad thoughts later)
First of all, in order to make Andrew's importance to me a little more concrete, I will tell the story of how I first met Andrew and my introduction to the fandom.
In the 2.5 years I've been in this fandom, the thing I've heard the most is that Andrew's series is the one that introduced Saku to most other people in the fandom. I came here the same way! So unpredictable of me woah
I'm not normally someone who likes romance, but Andrew's passion and the fact that he's someone who devoted his mind to literature was not something I could overlook. On the other hand, I was surprised by the fact that he is interested in history and that he knew that history was not just information from the past, but a branch in which there were many factors to be interpreted and many conclusions to be drawn. I've never come across such a deeply thought out character in my life. In addition to these enviable aspects of Andrew, the fact that he grew up in a religious family focused only on academic success has a mentionable social impact on him(in a negative way). I always thought that Andrew's interest in literature (more specifically, poetry) was the sole result of this oppressive family structure. Because although his family thought they were doing what was necessary, Andrew was shown a lack of empathy. His brother loathed him because of his family, his classmates (who were a few years older than him) looked at Andrew as if he's a genius. But until this age, the only thing that knew Andrew as Andrew was literature, the soul impressions in the poems, left by the poets, whose lifes were as complex as Andrew's. He could only explain himself with words with such unattended people around him .
When I reached this conclusion, for the first time in my life I was able to relate to a character this much. Because the dozens of writing books on the top shelf of my library were not things I wrote because it was a "hobby",as i tell people . They were my thoughts that I put on paper in order to express, even if just a little, the things I couldn't talk about with those around me .In fact, if I were to add to this, another reason why I am so interested in foreign languages is that I find it irritating to explain myself using my native language. Because I can explain things that I cannot explain in my native language in other languages as if a waterfall is flowing from my mouth.
Actually, I didn't want to make this topic long, but... I should also mention the aspect of overcoming so many psychological difficulties (lack of belonging, internal conflict and more) and being able to shed light on many young people with his professorship is truly an incredible skill! I envied Andrew once again 🙃

Andrew was more than a classical literature professor, or however you describe him now, it is very difficult to limit the character development that Andrew has experienced since the pandemic in sentences.
