A couple of black guys named Noob & Awesome watch the first James Bond film. Dr. No(1963). The one that started it all. Sean Connery does so well. This is a first time blind reaction. We have never seen this before.

So an interesting thing I learned is that at this point in his life Sean Connery was already losing his hair so he was wearing a hair piece.
Also it was because of the Disney film Darby O'Gil and the Little People that Sean Connery landed the role of James Bond as Albert Broccoli's wife saw the film and knew he had to be the one.

This was great, you definitely need to do Hunt For Red October if you want a scottish russian 😂
Btw, stirred is a bit diluted (with the ice melting), shaken gets you a truly refreshing chilled end result in a drink.

Quarrel was a returning character in the book (he previously appeared in Live & Let Die), so his death hit even harder (and was probably more surprising) there.

"James Bond will get cancer in 10 years!" and that's why M replaced him with Roger Moore

The style of music that you noticed when Bond killed the tarantula, is known in Hollywood as "Micky Mouseing". That's an old style of movie scoring, where major actions, like footsteps, coincide with a beat beat in the music (like in a cartoon). It was almost already out of style by the time of "Dr. No", but earlier movies used it all the time. It's especially evident in the original version of "King Kong".

The "sister" is Marguerite Le Wars. She was Miss Jamaica that year. Miss Taro is supposed to be Eurasian as is Dr. No, Himself (German father and Chinese mother). So it's not that bad that he's actually a white guy in Chinese makeup! Also, one of you asked what the photographer girl hit Quarrel with. That was a camera flashbulb from the time.

There was actually one Bond movie before this, Casino Royale, a black-and-white made-for-TV movie from the 50s. It's pretty bad. Bond is American and everyone calls him Jimmy.

3:53 there was a video game version on the second Bond film, From Russia with Love. It was Sean Connery, but he was decades older at the time.

17:00 Well, this is around the same era of John Wayne playing Genghis Khan and David Caradine playing a Shaolin priest in "Kung-Fu". 'Course nowadays they just outright swap the race of the character itself, even when it doesn't make sense story-wise, instead of attempting make-up + prosthetics.

They don't have a formula down when making it and it affects the pacing. Only thing is sure is Connery is their man.

That was a blast. I'm not a huge James Bond fan, but the Sean Connery ones are so fun and stylish, and also just fun to watch from the perspective of now. I'm not an explosions/action movie fan, but these 60s James Bond movies have the greatest explosions! :D
