    I have some problem in XeF4 as you said that D4h according it's order will be 16 but according to elements it is 15

      D4h:-16== 3C4 + 4C2 + 4 sigma v +1 sigma h + 1 E + 2 S4 + 1 S2 Or i
      3 C4 = 2C4 + C2
      4 C2 = 2C'2 + 2C"2
      4 sigma v = 2 sigma v + 2 sigma d
      S2 = i
      Dnh point group formula is :- (n-1) Cn + nC2 + n sigma v + 1 sigma h
      Each molecules one identity (E) group is present.
      Improper axis find out (Sn).

    Most humbly and respectfully I have to State that I have some problems in group theory
    1) what is reducible representation of cis butadiene
    2) what is reducible representation of Trans butadiene
    Kindly sir help me immediately on my email.

      For cis and trans reducible representation will be same i.e.30,0,10,0
