i think i would have probably tested the plugs while connected to the distributor. as it is uncommon for a sparkplug to go bad and much more common to have a bad plug wire, distributor cap or rotor. would be nice to know what was causing the problem...
Thanks for the video. I’m getting my 50 F3 6 cylinder running again after close to 25 years. Looking for all the things to take into account. Started almost three years ago but backed off because of colder months.
Great! Hopefully you don't have the same water pump, fuel pump, and brake issues I had, but if you do, I recommend googling "cowboy John" because he did a great job rebuilding that stuff for me.
Pretty cool truck
👍🏻 thanks!

The spark issue seemed to fix itself (for now, at least). Maybe the cobwebs just needed to be dusted off 🤣

The flat head 6s are so 😎 cool
Thanks! The flathead V8 always gets the attention, but it was the inline 6 that was the true workhorse of that day.
@@jonelsonster agreed...did the old 215 cid come in a flat head too?
Sweet man. I know the feeling.
Thanks! I'm getting my water pump and fuel pump rebuild right now. Hopefully I'll post some more on this truck in the near future.
Really fun video; awesome. Good to see the ol' girl running again.
I still remember driving this to college with your motorcycle in the back.
