It used to be highlights for the first few days, then a long final day, and then reviewing the winning pattern at the end with the winner. I really liked that layout.
Why does Bassmaster tell you who won the tournament right at the beginning? This coverage is very frustrating, you can't watch it without having the winner spoiled for you. Takes all of the suspense out of watching tournament bass fishing.
I agree. i believe they just started doing that when the winner was gonna be in studio. The older shows reveal the winner at final weigh in, at least the ones I have seen.
I know these are old shows, but who's idea was it to give away the whole shebang in the first 4 minutes?! Was there no one in the production meeting room to go "whoa whoa whoa, you're actually being serious right now?!"?
Since we cover these events live on our webiste and the next month in our magazines, I think the assumption is most people know who won already. - Sara
Man I wish y'all would load the footage from Smith Mountain lake Virginia, that's my home lake and I want to see these events. Come on B.A.S.S. make it happen!!!!!
After the first 3 minutes, there was no point in watching the rest. The excitement was gone. Please no more formatted shows like this, it isn't a good idea.
Wish he stayed with BASS. Fun guy to grow up watching. Didn't follow him after he left Bassmaster

That top 12 was flat out staaaaaaacked.

The shows air weeks after the tournaments. Most people who follow BASS already knows who won. The shows are simply the story of how it unfolded.
