Got a beautiful 5 lb spotted bass there in the spring. Haven't had much luck lately even staying on our houseboat and fishing all day all weekend. Saw some huuuuge 7+ ones cruising the shallows near the Portman Marina landing. Threw everything in the box at them and even live bluegill but they were short striking if they came after it at all which was rare.
5:33 everybody on that top ten list has been around pro bass fishing for a long time, in fact at least four of those top ten have been around in big money tournaments since the mid 2000s
Fishing Hartwell can be difficult if you’re not from here, Hartwell is my home lake and I struggle sometimes on it, you gotta know where they are and what to throw
With so many great anglers going to MLF it sure gives a chance to new anglers to win. Time to find some new favorites to follow.

You couldn't catch crabs off a ten dollar hooker.
Them guys pounded it out for sure! That's quite a lake, full of jumbo magnums.

Yes I saw some 5-7lbers smashing baitfish on the surface down from our house boat last Friday.
