I’ve found journaling to God to be so amazing. I find when I pray in my head my thoughts bounce around like crazy and then I’m thinking about what I’m going to make for dinner and I’m all over the place. When I write a letter to God I can process and take my time. It’s been amazing
I started prayer journaling and journaling in my Bible at the beginning of August. I can’t tell you what a difference it is making for me. I am learning things I never knew before and I am more peaceful having given so much to the Lord that I was trying to carry myself. Thank you for your video.
This method, I have recently been practising and it is the best best best journaling practise ever, makes me more focused in my prayers and at the end I feel so light and joyful.

I found when I pray on paper I’m completely focused. I have filled 3 journals front and back pages in the last 4 years. What’s So Dope about it, is that I can look at what I’m still struggling with and also what prayers were answered

last week i was mad at the Lord, because of things that happened. i felt distant from God. i couldnt feel Him and for some reason i couldnt talk to him. meaning the words werent coming out.. i couldnt pray. i decided to write to Him instead and immediately i felt better. the next day i felt the Holy Spirit back in my life AND i knew how to talk to him again! i have an altar for the Lord, where i put a little “mail box”. i put my letters in there to give it to Him :)

Ive been journalling recently and a little in the past to The Lord and when I read it back it really is just like you said venting and complaining and no change in my life. so now you helped me understand to tell God what is happening and how I feel and to GIVE it to him and thank him for hearing me and answering my prayers. And yes a few times I can Boldly say I have heard God speak to me a small whisper of his word scripture and it was amazing. I use to think how can I hear God just ask him to open your heart and ears and His word Comes to your mind and thats how he speaks to us through his word. Only area I get a little confused sometimes is Repeated prayers do I pray once for that something or daily and sometimes I just dont know what to say or how to say it . any advise ? Thanks and God Bless!
Same here! I have been journaling to God, but really I have been venting & complaining & asking for him to help me. Yet nothing has changed bc I’m not really giving it to him, nor am I being an obedient child. This video helped me too, to understand how to write to him. Your comment also cleared something up for me! I’m going to ask God to open my heart & ears bc I struggle to hear him. Welcome! would say a separate notebook. it doesn't need to be anything fancy. Just a notebook to write your thoughts in because the journals may be long on certain days

I just began to write Abba. I do it towards the end of the day. Need to work on sitting to hear his response. This was right on time
Journaling helps “count your blessings and name them one by one”
