Today I wanted to invite you in to my quiet time to share with you my Prayer Process!
I have been doing this for several years now... and it has transformed the way I pray, the way I listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit, and how the Lord can use me to make a significant impact for the Kingdom of God!

Wendy, I got stuck on ''oh it has to be pretty for me to use it'' and ''it has to be expensive to work'' you took that right out of my vocabulary I am going to use lined notebook and a stapler and put it in a folder (to use what I have ) The whole point is to have the relationship with Christ and talk to Him, our ''tools'' dont have to be pretty... Love you

I love the simplicity of the prayer journal/notebook. It can be as creative or as simple as you want. The most important thing is that it keeps you accountable to actually pray for who you said you'd pray for. Thanks for the tip!

Not a coincidence but Spirit led, I got a small notebook out just yesterday to start a prayer journal, my plan was to write down any prayer request I seen on my Fb feed or in person, by evening I had a chicken scratch page that wasn’t bringing me comfort or sense to me to pray. This is an encouragement He knew I needed thank you Wendy. ☕️

Wow. This was amazing! Thank you for sharing! God is so faithful and amazing. I needed to hear this. I’m saved but broken and fighting the enemy everyday. Seems like he is trying so much harder on me just knowing I’m struggling. But our God is so much stronger than the enemy and will win! I just need to keep my eyes on the Lord.

I been watching all your videos just latey. I havent had much sleep I get maybe 3 to 4 hours anight sometimes. God lead me to open my phone up, here a few days ago in the middle of the night and for the first time you popped up, I listened and got answers to my prayer on bible study. Thank you for sharing the story at the end of this video. My husband and I have that kind of person in our lives, he has broken many long-term relationships. He is having a very hard time letting go of the situation because the man was a friend and my husband and I were loyal to him. We have been praying for him and his family ever since, very much in the same way as you did in your situation. So it was very encouraging to hear we are on the right track. I may never know the outcome but I can trust and count on God to do what is best for everyone involved.

Wendy, thanks again for sharing your heart, your personal experiences and such a practical application to our prayer life. I was getting overwhelmed and getting lost in making this much more complicated than it needed to be. Your video beautifully put together all the pieces I felt led to include in my own journal, but just wasn't sure how to implement it all. Thank you for also being open about listening to the Holy Spirit and learning to discern His voice.
I've been searching for an online prayer group that holds virtual meetings outside of FB or IG (taking time away from social media right now). Anyone have any suggestions?

This is a wonderful video. Thank you. It is very hard for me to pray for people that have wronged me. I get so irritated, but I will start doing this and push myself towards what Jesus wants me to do in prayer.
This is powerful! I have felt convicted in my lack of meaningful prayer lately. Like the hymn says, it is a privilege to carry everything to the Lord in prayer - and yet, how often do we do so? It's a privilege I've woefully neglected. I wonder if I'll get to heaven and find myself thinking, "Kathy, how many situations in your life or someone else's cold have been impacted if you'd just gone to Him in prayer? Why did you waste that wonderful gift of communing with Him?" I am going to avail myself of that wonderful privilege from here on out. I intend to begin with your prayer journal idea. Your video appeared today,on the very day The Lord led me to begin daily specifically writing my prayers.i immediately was in love with your journals,so fat and full of post it's! The Lord knows my love of all things composition notebooks,I was struggling,where to write them,and it's an answer to my prayer,to write them daily,even if it's the same .I also understand about the writing it out,and then praying, another question I had for Him today.for ,it's when I pray from my heart,that The Holy Spirit will speak and lead and guide my prayers.this video was so helpful,and just want I needed,thank you❤

Very good. I so enjoyed this. I have a question…you said you use only one book each year, how do you get all those requests for 365 days in that book that only has 180pages,or so??? Also you mentioned you did it on Monday yet you said your family names were there daily???

Well, that's true! Jesus says in Mark 4:23 and Matthew 11:15 "He who has ears to hear let him hear"
We do speak a lot and don't listen to what the Holy Spirit says. Amen!

Why do you think bad things were attracted to you? Ask a priest or pastor to pray for you and put on the Armour of God daily. Blessings😊
I will pray for you and encourage you to remember that God is in charge and sometimes use the devil to make you stronger and to have you lean into God more. We will never be free of temptation until we reach heaven. Also I suggest you read and ponder when Jesus was led into the desert to be tempted. How did he defeat the devil?

I feel like I should not pray for my unsaved family (I don't mean to not pray for their salvation but for their peace, etc) I feel this because I think if everything is okay in their lives how would they know more that they need a Savior?

I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible can I write in it with a BIC Round Stic M pen or with a pencil senting you lots of love and happiness and prayers for you and you're family ❤😊

Love this idea and want to try it. I have a small 3 ring binder but I have to keep changing out and adding pages. Apologies I cannot remember, does one notebook last all year. Is this method for once a week or do you use a page every day and that would require multiple a year since most have less than 120 pages
I just use them until I need another one. I try not to complicate it, as I feel like that would deter me from the real meaning for the process.
Another question what are those extra papers sticking out of your books?
Oh they are a myriad of things... notes to myself, things that I want to remember about something I feel like God spoke to me about, scripture references for things I am praying... all different kinds of things.

@@inspireministries thank you. I'm thankful you stepped away from Beth Moore books and such.
Please don't think I'm being critical, I have a learning disability so considering my issue, the numerous stories do not help me they cause me to deflect after the first story explaining using the red pen. So I got that but I got confused as to why you kept telling similar stories and I was waiting for.....the next step but it didn't come. Or did I miss it? Red pen write name and request then listen with blue pen and that's all you do? I like to spend time in prayer praising and giving thanks, confessing, my spiritual growth needs. I also like to pray the Scriptures especially Psalms. One would be surprised that just reading a Psalm slowly as you consider each word meditatively people just come to mind. I did like the two different color pens and it gave me the idea of using a third color for answered prayer all on the same page. Thanks
She writes down what the Holy Spirit prompts her to pray for that person.
Don't be so like always negative in your Prayers, tried that everytime that you are telling your feelings to God tried to do it with this attitude of like God I trust you and I know you can help me, , without being so negative, but be honest❤
