Do you need to provide ITR or income docs while applying?
Hi - when you say that you have 2 cards (presumably you and your wife) then are they considered as 2 separate cards even if it is an add-on card i.e. both cards spends are considered separately and both can earn 1K bonus point on 4 swipes i.e. 2K points on 8 swipes (of 1.5K on each card)?

I have been trying this since last 2 years without any issue. I have AMEX SMART EARN CC and every month via Zomato app, I recharge paytm wallet from within zomato app and max you can do for 4K every month. I instantly transfer that amount from paytm wallet to my savings account without even 1 rupee extra charge and then pay the amount from cred to get 4000 cred coins. On amex I get 280 MR points for every 4K INR wallet reload. It works and it's awesome trick!
My major expenses are elec bills, insurance, stuffs from Amazon (I have Amazon pay cc) so I believe this card will not be useful for me? I travel once/twice a year max (via train) .. few order from swiggy/Zomato..grocery is not bought online..so wonder where can I use this card for?

two questions:
1. Marriott points allow to book only the room and does not include the breakfast. Plus the hotels may not be in the area of travel? So does transferring it to Air miles makes more sense or Marriott? This is one of the bigger questions in mind
2. Amex has a capping of 4k per card if you reload it through ZOmato/Swiggy. Are there other avenues where we can use the card for topup even if i have exhausted the initial 4K limit
1. You evaluate the value based on flights you take. Depends if you fly frequently. JW properties do give free breakfast if you ask.
2. Yes capping is there. No other alternative.

We don’t know when will the better offers come. Not in our control. Both cards are great. In terms of priority - I’d pick MRCC.

No they don’t. You have to apply. I have not seen or known any such cases.

Ive got this card about 1 month back since RBI has lifted the ban . However the initial credit limit assigned is too low can u share some hacks in terms of increasing the credit line for Amex MRCC card . also based on this card type what is the max which amex can offer on this card??
You can ask them for an increase after a few months of usage
I just contacted their team and within 1 hour they upgraded from 25K to 1.88 Lakhs😂. No wonder AMEX support is the best. Simply mind blowing!
