Using all of your numbers: You're saying that LSU was going to pay $4 million at the time that Michigan was offering $10.5 million. The discrepancy was already vast. If it was going to be about money, then this recruitment ended awhile ago. LSU was pretty much already dead in the water this whole time. Bryce's camp strung it out because they could, and it worked. He got LSU to up its offer at the last minute to $6 million. That's still woefully short of $10.5 million. UM was always going to pay at least double what LSU was going to. If LSU had managed to come up with a $10 million offer then UM would make it $20 million. LSU wasn't ever going to win this. Yes, it's about money, but UM won the money game as soon as it entered. This isn't some out-of-nowhere flip or some last second godfather offer. The godfather offer was made a long time ago. There was just no reason for Bryce to rush and take it. Meadows isnt a five star get out of here and enjoy mediocrity if we had Michigan schedule we would have a much better record
@@kedrickd7yeah if only we had a common opponent we could compare
@@nonyadambusiness2543 Ok just because they lost to USC doeant mean anything. Michigan schedule is mega soft
@@kedrickd7 🤣
@@kedrickd7Michigan has one of the hardest schedules in the nation playing 4 of the top 5 teams in the nation, Michigan beat USC and LSU lost to USC...so Michigan has a harder strength of schedule AND Michigan beat common opponents (this year and last year with Bama). Stop living in your make believe world...😂
save the $$$ for Elijah Haven
Go Blue!!!
Agree Nussmeier will likely stay another year. If he enters the draft after this season, who knows how low he'll go. If he stays as a 5th year player next year and can greatly improve his performance, his draft stock may rise. That said, I don't think LSU is going to be very good in 2025 either.
I've never seen Scone coping so hard
I tried to tell y’all stop believing these reporters…just pay attention instead of putting all your belief in these people!🇯🇲
Take that 6 mil, go in the portal and get some dawgs.
Don’t care about underwood ….UPGRADE THE DEFENSE with those extra funds. LSU hasn’t had a truly dominant defense since 2003
LSU cannot afford to lose any more players from this class.
If the dominos continue to fall, BK should be fired ASAP.
Forgot about JJ McCarthy
For money there will be plenty that would want to come
Didn’t LSU have another 4 star QB out of Baton Rouge or was that the 26 class ?
Just go get Air Noland from the portal. RTR 💯💪🔥
So salty that you disrespect both Bryce and JJ 😂😂😂
Maybe SMU has a QB can you guys can go after.
$12 million for a freshman QB is crazy work but Bryce played the game well. That family should be congratulated if it is a signed deal
Just go with Collins or Hurley.
So you might as well not get involved with a top recruits unless you’re willing to pay $12 million, because your just gonna waste your time and end up setting the program back when you end up with nothing ,they are going to go to whoever is willing to pony up the money , some want to win more than others do , so tell me again that relationships matter, that being committed for a year matters , this is another blunder egg on his face moment for This staff , it is what is they should have had a back up plan , they should have had more than one catch on the hook , so you don’t end up getting played
Yeah, let’s make it all about the $$$. Not on lack of development at qb & wr. If this LSU team had continued its early season offensive success maybe 6 mil would have been enough. Cause NFL has f u money when developed in college.
they just developed the 2nd pick QB and 2 first round WRs in the last draft but besides that good point
@@Sonnynola123 I agree but at 18 yrs old a year is forever.
You have a radio voice.
This was a hit, but you can't be mad at a man's $12M decision. As long as everybody else stays... I'm still hopeful
I doubt it. Offensive guard Devin Harper decommitted last weekend. Unfortunately, you should expect more attrition.
@jedolivier2688 outsiders have their wishful thinking, and we have our.
Does anyone know if these payouts are taxpayer funded? At this point, the NFL should be paying for a farm club system instead of destroying the college sports system.
LSU has over 1 million Twitter followers. If each one of them donates $10 per year to the Bayou Traditions we will have over $10 million dollars to be really competitive in NIL
I Think The Transfer Success Will Soon Slow Down Once The COVID Kids Are All Gone.
Not a word about Coach Kelly's horrible job so far. This is year 3 people, and it's just getting worse. Kelly couldn't even get to the SEC championship game (not to mention CFP) with historic trio in Daniels / Nabers / BTJ. This coach can't elevate a team. Now we realize he can't recruit on high level.
Why does it take all this to see what everyone else can see is that Nus has bad mechanics and bad judgement and some can be coached out of him and some can not be
Let's Geaux
why pay for steward he is not proven and has only really played football for 1 year - this systems is for a Dual threat QB not a Pocket passer
Underwood was never coming to LSU. He was playing LSU to get a big money deal at UM or elsewhere. LSU is not in the top tier of teams paying players to play. Future does not look good.
I'm not getting bent out of shape over a high school kid changing his mind. $6 million or $12 million, if Underwood wanted to be at LSU he would have found a way. That is not Brian Kelly's fault. All LSU has to do is build the offense up around Nussmier and they will be fine. If you can't do that, go into the portal, do some praying, and hope you can find another Jayden Daniels that can come in and turn the chickensh*t offense of LSU into chicken salad by himself.
Brain Kelly is the reason. Especially the fake accent lol
If you don’t have a certified QB in football your cooked Michigan knew the Assignment LSU didnt moral of the story if you want something or someone that bad you go all out for it
