Try making a shot of espresso, but put in a few sticks of cinnamon in the portafilter on top of the coffee puck. Flash chill that shot by pouring it in a glass bottle and slowly cooling it down by rinsing the bottle under running cold water while gradually shaking it. Literally the best cinnamon infused espresso I've ever had and made. It goes really well with milk, with or without sugar. It even tastes good without milk as an Americano.

    • @danielrosales221

heating some water in an electric kettle is way less effort than making simple syrup imo. no need to wash an extra dish and deal with all that hot sugar. maybe if you want to make the process even simpler you can just make the syrup in bulk but then you'd have to worry about crystallization and having to heat water isn't really much harder.

I used a glass jar with a lid to shake it and then drank directly from that. The hot water makes it very foamy but thats the point of a shaken espresso, and the foam reduces as it sits. If you don't want it as foamy, just don't shake it for as long. Or, dissolve the coffee and then put it in the freezer for a few minutes to cool it down

You are bruning the instant coffee. Use room tempersture water to dissolve the coffee, add hot water to dissolve sugar.

This is a frappe with cinnamon. You can use a glass jar or a disposable water bottle, something with ridges to help shake it up.

This is the basic iced coffee we drink every day in Greece.
You can make it with the cheapest plastic shaker and no frother. Just shake it until it's nothing but froth before adding the ice with a small amount of water so that you don't make a mess.

If you use cold water to dissolve the instant coffee before you put in the hot water, it doesn't burn the instant coffee. It makes it taste a lot better

it doesn't really matter what each little dash costs, you still have to buy all the products at normal size, and you aren't including the price if the cup, the mixer, all that.

so this is the equivalent of a tall which is about 4$
still a lot cheaper this way, but its worth noting you wont get nearly as much caffeine. if you want the same buzz you can use an espresso roast instead of using instant coffee.

People hate on instant coffee in the US but you just have to shop around and find one you like. Even the nicer ones aren’t very expensive. I like JFG medium roast out of Knoxville, super chocolaty and rich

Nobody talks about how you have to go to the store to buy a whole jar of cinnamon, a container of instant coffee, and either a jug or pint of milk in order to make this. That’s like $30 in ingredients up front.
