First of all, don't let anyone tell you "you are not a real Christian if (blank)" that's work salvationist nonsense. The bible clearly gives the criteria for Salvation over 85 times in John and its to believe on christ as your savior from hell because of what he did for you. And no, actually, the passage in Mathew quite literally is referring to saving us from sin eternally i.e. heaven. Yes, you are supposed to live holy, but guys like this think there is something wrong with you for simply wanting to not burn for eternity. Smh.

@edengardenlabs7773 well actually I already am saved from my consequences because of my faith in what my savior has done for me, but actually no, I do try and live for the lord. My point is the level of arrogance it takes for a man to say "you are not a REAL Christian if..." is astounding. Jesus already gave us the criteria, it's a free gift, nothing added. I think I'll take the Son of God's word for it instead of sinful man.

I totally understand what bro Zac is saying, I have been a Christian for some years now and at a certain point i realize nothing really has changed in my way of life, i was still jealous, addicted to alcohol and and other stuffs, lust for women, anger.. you can name them. Until at a certain point i became fed up and i asked Jesus that He said He will save from our sins, now by God's grace is been almost a year now and i don't have the appetite for alcohol again, the lust and anger has disappeared, there are still things that i am dealing with but i know Jesus will help me to overcome them because i want to be more like Him. Unless you enjoy being in sin you will not understand what the teacher is saying. Thank you bro Zac.

@edwardacheampong6543 "brother" zac doesnt believe in osas. (saw a video of him confirming such) So unless he got saved originally by believing the gospel and just has fallen into error, he isn't a "brother" at all.
