I’ve had a fascination with Laughlin since I went back around the same time you did for the first time in 25 years and I return to your videos relatively often.

My wife and I went there in Oct of 22. Had a great time. Would definitely recommend renting the jet skies on the river. That was a blast!

Great video! If you get a chance to go back, the Prime Rib Room is very good. Good food and a great view of the river while you dine.

Don used to keep his Bell JetRanger helicopter at the Riverside on a helipad right outside. One day I was eating at the restaurant there and he was up in the helicopter buzzing the building. Pretty entertaining to watch.

Stayed at Riverside many times. Riverview Restaurant is very reasonable with great food. You're right, older crowd in Laughlin and a great place to relax. Right past Bowling Alley is the Sportbook. My hangout.

tip- Auto museum is Free with a players card, just get one, even if not planning to play..
There is a small 'annex' casino with a bar and my fav place for Fried Chicken...as a snack bar/deli..Krispy Krunchy Fried Chicken. It is next to the parking garage and escalators connect it to pedestrian bridge that connects to the main casino at the 2nd floor (arcade, movie theatre, bingo, showroom, and gourmet/prime rib room.....and other escalators lead back down into the main casino......or find the way to bowling alley/sportsbook, etc and the auto museum- on 3rd floor! (with a smaller display in front of main entrance)...

Bubbleverry Cafe is supposed to have the best breakfast in Las Vegas.
Never went to the Riverside Resort. Am subscribed. Even hit the like button. Ah, there is a Fatburger here. I see a lot of slot machines, do they have table games? Pizza. No table games, but, a huge bowling alley.
Very huge bowling alley! They most likely had tables I just did my best to avoid them with my camera. Don’t want any trouble on my first visit! Lol 😆 thanks for hanging with me and Kelli!

Is there an actual town in Laughlin like a suburb area with houses and shops? Every time I go I stay around the casinos and maybe go to that empty mall across the street but I wondered if there was a real town with gyms, grocery stores, movie theaters, suburb houses? Or do all the people live along the river or across it in bullhead city?
Mesquite is a utah thing this could be so much more every time one of those vegas casinos opened in the 90's it employeed thousands each time let vegas become the manhattan i lived in vegas and alot of people i mean alot of people loved the cheap rooms good buffets cheap and great entertainment people who live there because they had enough apartments had affordable houseing you cant make vegas jersey without a draw
They still serve free drinks without a minimum gambling requirement.

I do like casual. I think Kelli does as well. Lol. Have you noticed any games there, like I'm thinking of a number, or Rock Paper Scissors? Do they serve Iced cold Busch Beer? If so, then I'm in! 😊

It does get pretty wild at the loser lounge during the night it attracts a lot of young people. Don's celebrity theatre is worth checking out (big names & tributes Elvis the rat pack etc.) Newly remodeled pool area . The movie theater has a full bar .Player cards at any level always include a free buffet or prime rib dinner ..My humble opinion avoid the buffet and cafe all the other restaurants are great Don't forget the casa Serrano Mexican restaurant very affordable great atmosphere great drinks. Bring your dog ( one floor dedicated to pets.)

It was the busiest resort that we experienced. It wasn’t a sat but it was the day before Christmas Eve
Don Laughlin doesn't stay there anymore. He passed away last year.

I wish someone would step up and remodel the rooms and casinos and go a touch more upscale. I used to love the Aquarius but man, that place is so tired now. The Riverside is all right, but the beds are horrible.
Thanks for the info! Yes I sorta knew going in that the rooms weren’t going to be impressive. The town as a whole was very clean and felt safe. We enjoyed our visit there 😊
