Hi Jose its me again,I talked to you last time about the canon pro 1 printer and its now functional.I tried printing today and the print is very dark out of the printer.Ive been watching several monitor-print ways on profiling/soft proofing. What can you suggest about the photos I printed that is very dark?I used Icc paper profiling and print studio pro.My monitor was well calibrated.
When you get a dark result from a printer that CAN produce a correct result from printing from a standard Image not your, that can only mean that YOUR image is actually dark. Regardless of how it looks on your display. Please watch these videos. one from me and one from the master, The Digital Dog! ruclips.net/user/edit?o=U&video_id=IkpNj2qSfuM digitaldog.net/files/Why_are_my_prints_too_dark.mp4
Hi.I havent tried printing others standard image yet but the one that I tried was a sunset shot, its a bit dark image originally but the printed one is quite darker.Im planning to buy a smaller size paper for testing so I can save ink during testing.I have watched the video of the Digital Dog but I find it a bit hard to digest. The first videos you sent cannot be opened.
Try the standard Image first and foremost. Do not edit it. It should print correct and visually should appear normal. View it under a bright light source. Verify your printer by first doing this. Then if your private image prints a bit dark it is very likely because it IS a bit dark. That is cause by editing on a monitor which is too bright. I will check the link to the video and resend.
