If this had happened, our game would’ve been cancelled due to our team wanting to do the same thing that day dude did to that player to every single player and even coach on the other team.
The Waco Head Coach and Athletic Director should be fired. Not because the incident happened, but because they allowed that kid to continue to represent their school. I grew up playing football, and that person would not have been a member of our team the next day.
The mom should file charges against the other kid and the school district. I played football from childhood to D1 college and what happened on that field was assault plain and simple.
jamie fister thank you. That kid could have easily gave that boy life long injuries. You can’t just slam someone head off the ground. And yes helmets have padding. But I would love for some grown people to go out there and hit head to head and see if it doesn’t hurt there skull. That kid should be for one never allowed to play again, two he should be charged with assault. Three he should be expelled. 💯💯 no school district should want a child like this, around other children in a environment that’s supposed to be safe.
@avery Jordan it’s relevant in more than one way. For one he is stating that, most likely to give other people watching an commenting and understanding from a person who’s played on a high level. Yeah it’s obvious cause we have a video and that’s obviously not how you play football. But doesn’t mean someone is trying to brag cause there stating they played for a d1 college there’s plenty of people in a d1 college that went no where so
End his season if not whole high school career. At least suspended if not expelled. Criminal charges. All those need to happen and I’d suggest punishment for the whole team and coaches as this clearly wasn’t just the one player.
If this happened in Kentucky, he'd never set foot on a football field again, his team would forfeit the game, and the player would face assault and battery charges. At some point, you have to establish that you're playing a sport, not fighting like it's life or death. He crossed that line, and should be punished heavily for it. Absolutely ridiculous that they allowed this to happen and the player, more or less, got off scot free. And Mrs. Gower said it best. The biggest lie that schools tell you is that they don't tolerate bullying. Clearly, Waco UHS does, and it's shameful.
This just reminds me of one of the most infamous football games ever played in NFL History, but also the most *grotesque* game: *The Body Bag Game* 28-14 was the score, but everyone remembers the game's score as *9*
His coach has no balls if he lets this kid remain on the team. When I coached he would have been out of that stadium in 15 minutes. Gone. No suspension. Gone. That's waaaaaay beyond targeting & a 1 game suspension.
I disagree the coach knew exactly what he was doing but he was living out his dreams through his football players because he couldn't cut it as a football player so now he's looking for the big victory so will close and eye to achieve this because after all it's about him he likes being called coach cuz it makes me feel good and it doesn't matter at whose expense f****** bully
If I was this kids coach you best believe that he’s getting more than just the boot of the team….. Granted, if your a coach and you’d o something like that, you would also probably get the boot…….
Estryus Flemming are you stupid or blInd, guy was holding him down by the neck, do you just sit there and get choked out? Is that what you do? Lol. You gotta be joking right? You can‘t legitimately believe that kick was anything else but self defense, right?
@Estryus Flemming its very easy to get you hands up to theit necks. I was a linemen when I played and there were more than a few shots to the neck. If your shoulder pads cover your neck they are too big.
@Estryus Flemming I hate to disagree with you but it's easy asf to get choked out even with a helmet &' pads on (I played so ik how's it's set up &' like) your shoulder pads are strapped &' only come up to your neck when you're either 1. Running or 2. Blocking &' someone's pushes them up. Regardless that kid's in the wrong for that &' a 1 game suspension isn't enough. It's a physical game but that was targeting &' assault, with no questions
as a lineman back in high school there was a phrase "those knees look weak" we were essentially directed to break the other teams morale by destroying their bodies. Cant tell you how many knees i saw get shattered by linemen diving the other side.
Number 76 is just a big bully. Beating a kid and choking him is not how you play football. They need to kick that kid off the team. He’s probably the coaches son.
This kind of behavior is always encouraged by a coach!!! Win at any cost mentality. GO AFTER THE COACH OF THE OFFENDING TEAM!!! Multiple players targeted one kid.
when u play football, u obviously run which makes it hard to breathe because of common sense, but getting choked while already having it hard to breathe is just- i can’t imagine
Expulsion but leave it at that. I get the anger and that kid wasn’t playing football and shouldn’t be aloud on the field again but ya don’t have to take that to the cops
I was a coach and when something like this happened (not as bad as this) I pulled my team off the field and left. I was supported by the parents and ultimately was given a win by the review board. I didn't care about the win, this is a GAME and this type of action I saw on this video was ASSAULT! The coaches and the kid should have been charged for this.
@Crap Shitter hell of a name u got 👍 Have you ever tried the room temperature challenge?? You should try it, I know you'll have a huge support team to back you up.
Something like this happened to my team once and we were also given the win but the other team did not get punished even though they and one of there coaches assaulted one of our players
What I don’t understand is how no one on the team didn’t help, if this was our school or any surrounding schools that would have caused an all outright brawl, we had fights for lot less this was in mid 90’s in west Texas I don’t know how that this didn’t cause an all out war.
Agreed. Any of my players pull this crap, they aren't playing for me ever again. Only had to do it once and the message was well received by my players and the parents

Jack Murray you don’t think it’s cuz the kid tackled him then held him down then he retaliated? Mans got tackled by 76 then held down, kicked him in the balls, then got repeatedly thrown into the turf. But wait, earlier in the game he had already been targeted by 76 and another player. I have no idea what is going on in your head for why you are defending that guy, unless you are him
Sue the player for assault, sue the commissioner, sue coaches from the attackers team. Bring it to the States Attorney and insist they arrest and prosecute the attacker. If this record assault was done on the street, the attacker would have been arrested and charged.
How did the rest of his team not come to his aid? I remember playing soccer in high school and if one of our teammates were getting targeted we always protected that player. Even if you didn’t really get along that’s still your teammate
@Greg are you serious? He CHOKED him, and continuously slammed his head into the ground. For a block like that, just hold his shoulders down til the play is finished.
Gunfu Brizzo what are you talking about? What players do off the field doesn’t coralate to being part of football. That isn’t the game, that’s a poor argument.
Its the coaches teaching, telling them to do this. Plano, and Lakewood wrestling team came to Oklahoma holiday tournament about 5hrs ago in Anadarko, OK. A Plano wrestling coach instigated a fight one of our neighbouring town's coach. They had to be separated. When it came down to the finals, our school had an an undefeated wrestler and went against a Plano wrestler. The Plano wrestler was losing and resorted to trying to hurt our guy by trying to head-butt him. After several warnings from the Ref you could hear the Plano coach yell "keep doing it". The coach and the wrestler were thrown out of the building half way through the match. As they were walking out the wrestler was giving the entire crowd the finger. The Lakewood, TX team and parents sat near us, and apologized on behalf of Texas. These wrestlers and the parents were really wonderful, and kind people and were very embarrassed. They said Plano always do that but because they win and their school does nothing to stop it. We never seen those schools again. It looks like Waco is just like Plano. Weak teachers, corrupt and hateful coaches and superintendents that won't hold players and coaches accountable. All because they can't stand to lose. In this case that student needs to be arrested along with the coach. The state's superintendent (if he has tne guts) needs to put the school on notice. Any sport team with another incident will cause the coach's/s to be fired and halt ALL sporting events for the year.
Kevin Steele yes this is awful but the refs did say something, they made number 76 sit out for the rest of the game. They just couldn’t stop the player from playing the rest of the season. It’s awful
Kevin Steele I GO TO UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL. AND I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS HELPING HIM PICK HIM UP BUT THE KID IN THE GROUND HIT HIS BALLS THATS WHY HE DID THAT
Time to file a law suit against the school, the player, and the D.E.C. for failing to punish the bullies to the fullest extent and not even file charges.
Lance Carreras if he did that to your son would you say it’s “just fighting”? That son of a bitch needs charges pressed on him. That’s not fighting that’s down right targeting, bullying, and violence. You don’t choke someone and slam their head on the ground.
This is crazy I'm just now seeing this and I graduated from Burleson high played all sports this is unacceptable but I'm also pissed at his teammates!!
Right this happened on my high school team in 08 in front of our sideline and we had like 4 players run in and jump on him but they had to sit out the last 2 games
Sue the district, the opposition coaches, school, player and his parents! And go to the police, that’s far beyond unnecessary roughness and penalties that’s down right assault!
Additional disciplinary steps need be taken immediately, this is an urgent matter as it can have a ripple affect not only on school football communities but also other school team sports. The public at large including school boards must act now and condemn such violent behaviours with severe consequences.
If I were that kids head coach I would've kicked him off the team and insisted the school principal to have charges brought against him as well as expulsion. A slap on the hand doesn't show consequences for his actions.
In the 70s and 80s when there was the Big8 every Thanksgiving was the OU/Nebraska game. There was only three outcomes. 1. Sweeping loss 2. Biting your nails final score 3. Total mayhem. Each team trying to inflict the most injuries. Granted No. 3 only happened in 3 games I remember.
Or he might be the perfect guy on a team. You know, the type of guy that puts someone that's out of line in their place knowing the consequences. You know, the type of guy everyone including teammates of the "victim" watch do just that, rather than running to stop him....

THAT WHOLE TEAM AND THE COACH NEEDS INVESTIGATED! THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE PLAYER ON THAT DEAM TARGETING!
Don’t forget the refs did nothing.
And at that point I would've been down on that field with my child and ready for whoever put their malicious hands on him!
100 Percent !!! Thank God The Coaches saw and started running to Save this Poor kid. All the Players Involved should be kicked off the Team and be held accountable for their actions in Criminal Court !!!!!!!
If someone did that to someone on my team I’ll be throwing hands🤬
WTH!?! Where was his teammates!?! Forget the coaches. I wouldn’t let one of my teammates get bullied like that! This is ridiculous!
AnotherSKYWALKR agree 100%
Totally agree!!!
Hell a an on my team got suplexed in a tackle and that was enough for the whole bench on our team to clear the sidelines and go into actual war with the other team.
If this had happened, our game would’ve been cancelled due to our team wanting to do the same thing that day dude did to that player to every single player and even coach on the other team.
They bitched out
This wasn't a football game. It looked more like an organized prison riot.
What if it was a riot the kids teammates would of stepped but didnt

The Waco Head Coach and Athletic Director should be fired. Not because the incident happened, but because they allowed that kid to continue to represent their school. I grew up playing football, and that person would not have been a member of our team the next day.
What county and state did this happen in and when did this happen
How is your playing career relevant at all you just wanted to brag lmao
jamie fister D1 ? Lmaoo couldn’t make it to nfl that sucks
avery jordan fr😂😂💀
@avery Jordan it’s relevant in more than one way. For one he is stating that, most likely to give other people watching an commenting and understanding from a person who’s played on a high level. Yeah it’s obvious cause we have a video and that’s obviously not how you play football. But doesn’t mean someone is trying to brag cause there stating they played for a d1 college there’s plenty of people in a d1 college that went no where so
“That’s assault brotha”
I still use that one frequently
That team needs to be disqualified for the rest of the season and the coaches should be fired.
Football has changed!! When I played, you stood up for your teams mates!!
I love football and knocking the crap out of people, but that right there is criminal assault.
dan schroeder fr man like it's fun and all but that was just too far.
1-254-745-2250
This the athletic board's number for the school. I encourage everyone to call and voice their opinion on this incident and player #76
End his season if not whole high school career. At least suspended if not expelled. Criminal charges. All those need to happen and I’d suggest punishment for the whole team and coaches as this clearly wasn’t just the one player.
Things like that happened not like all the football fans pay 100$ and up to see players hit multiple times
The dad or uncles need to make an appointment with the coach of that school... hehehehe ...
Decisions can be changed, it happens everyday .
He would never play any other game for my team, or school! There children, not acceptable for adults, but their children.
notice the coaches from THAT team didn't respond????
YES BIG CHARGES NEEDED TO HAPPEN TO BULLIES PARENTS AND THE SCHOOL LET IT PAY BIG TIME...
This just reminds me of one of the most infamous football games ever played in NFL History, but also the most *grotesque* game: *The Body Bag Game*
28-14 was the score, but everyone remembers the game's score as *9*
His coach has no balls if he lets this kid remain on the team.
When I coached he would have been out of that stadium in 15 minutes. Gone. No suspension. Gone.
That's waaaaaay beyond targeting & a 1 game suspension.
I'd have put him at middle line backer!
He should be charged with assault imo.
Funny thing is....the coach was probably the person who told his players to target the other team's player.
If I was this kids coach you best believe that he’s getting more than just the boot of the team…..
Granted, if your a coach and you’d o something like that, you would also probably get the boot…….
He should be kicked off the team all together. And charges should be brought up for assault.
Ernest Escobar he should get on some nutri system look how fat that joker is
Estryus Flemming are you stupid or blInd, guy was holding him down by the neck, do you just sit there and get choked out?
Like nfl players have never fought.
It's time to Sue that school district for something that they have control of and they're not controlling what's going on
Sue the 💩 out of the school! Get a good a lawyer, ridiculous! Shame on the school allow him to play. What a punishment, ridiculous!

I thought the same thing - this came from the coaches, they are the ones that need to be dealt with on a personal/private level.
Cynthia Downs everyone thinks your dad is funny
Screw that they should be beat. Post their names and adresses
as a lineman back in high school there was a phrase "those knees look weak" we were essentially directed to break the other teams morale by destroying their bodies. Cant tell you how many knees i saw get shattered by linemen diving the other side.
Where I grew up, that's a season ending suspension right there!
Number 76 is just a big bully. Beating a kid and choking him is not how you play football. They need to kick that kid off the team. He’s probably the coaches son.
Screw kicking him off the team, that kid should be arrested.

No flags! Wow the guy was actually assaulted. How embarrassing for the refs.
Brandon try seeing the assault
Jack Murray you don’t think it’s cuz the kid tackled him then held him down then he retaliated? Mans got tackled by 76 then held down, kicked him in the balls, then got repeatedly thrown into the turf. But wait, earlier in the game he had already been targeted by 76 and another player. I have no idea what is going on in your head for why you are defending that guy, unless you are him
embarrassing for the fellow teammates who didn't have his back
Unnecessary roughness taken to the next level
@Jack Murray you need serious help and I hope you’ve got it by now. Therapy is a must for you
Sue the player for assault, sue the commissioner, sue coaches from the attackers team.
Football is a violent sport, but that's not football, thats assault.
Right
Thats regular football. Its called let the play and handle their own differences
@Greg are you serious? He CHOKED him, and continuously slammed his head into the ground. For a block like that, just hold his shoulders down til the play is finished.

Um the kid on the bottom kicks his nuts lol. Ida smashed him 2
Dude should be arrested and put in jail. Thats not football.

yeah i agree
Yes it is Football. In the NFL a lot of players beat their girlfriends and wives, they murder, they fight dogs, etc.
Gunfu Brizzo what are you talking about? What players do off the field doesn’t coralate to being part of football. That isn’t the game, that’s a poor argument.
This is totally assault and battery
Those players responsible should be BANNED FOR LIFE FROM EVER PLAYING AGAIN
Horrible. That's bs. I can't believe the refs didn't say anything.
Kevin Steele yes this is awful but the refs did say something, they made number 76 sit out for the rest of the game. They just couldn’t stop the player from playing the rest of the season. It’s awful
The refs did say something
Kevin Steele, normally refs in sports are horrible but they should have noticed this.
Kevin Steele I GO TO UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL. AND I FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS HELPING HIM PICK HIM UP BUT THE KID IN THE GROUND HIT HIS BALLS THATS WHY HE DID THAT
Kevin Steele right they just stood there and watched it happened
Why was there no brawl, if that happened in a rugby match I’d back up my teammate immediately, and the rest of my team would as well
Even as a football player I would have had his back. There is no way I would let that happen.
That is ridiculous. If I was coach I probably would've made my team start a brawl
It was freshman game
If that was my teammate I would destroy 76
I was thinking the same thing. That was my team mate I would have ran out there and dropkicked that dude.

2. Biting your nails final score
3. Total mayhem. Each team trying to inflict the most injuries.
Granted No. 3 only happened in 3 games I remember.
I've seen something that bad, but at least it led to a flag in the game and the kid was ultimately thrown out of college before the end of the season.
AJ Green choked out Jalen Ramsey a couple years ago lol he’s pretty mild mannered so Ramsey must’ve said something really bad to tick him off
Or he might be the perfect guy on a team. You know, the type of guy that puts someone that's out of line in their place knowing the consequences. You know, the type of guy everyone including teammates of the "victim" watch do just that, rather than running to stop him....
Don't blame the child, parents and really bad coaching did this.
