I used to be a passenger in a grass track sidecar outfit after being smacked in the mouth by a flint I bought a full face helmet before the next race. I kept the blood soaked leather face mask in the garage to remind me!!

Im still amazed how good your videos are. I keep giving other channels a try and they all fall so short of expectations yet have so many subscribers even the ones that seem to be getting investors and partners to help them with more money and cars etc still aren't as good all around as these. Ah! You see the marketing doesn’t show the air system as a pop up windscreen, all of the shots are flush. A mini wind deflector with a fan in it isn’t exactly revolutionary

To be fair, even when it clearly makes wonders with air management, with something a little bit heavier than a drizzle i think it wouldnt work, rain is way too heavy and doesnt flow as freely as air does. On the other hand, i dont think Elva owners would take them out of their air conditioned garages if there was even a 5% chance of rain incoming hahahaha

The concept of the Elva is what I was envisioning when McLaren came out with the 650s Can Am edition in 2016. Glad they've done it, but I'd also like to see them develop a more attainable car with this ethos so that more can enjoy them and spread the love in public or at car events.
I really don't get this car. The driving experience would hardly be any different if the car had 600hp. It's not like all that extra lightness and power would be great on track, because there's just no downforce to handle it. On the road, you simply couldn't use that power. But I guess they had to give you a 800hp engine if they wanted to sell this car with a 7 figures price. But let you in a little secret, it doesn't cost mclaren much to give you then 800hp engine vs the 620hp engine in the GT.
I have a question: does the air pressure inside the virtual shell decrease as time goes on because the air inside gets sucked out of car due to speed?

Do you think it looks like a bit too much of a handful? Like your Exige looked more darty than your Evora but you like your Evora. This looks like the Exige turned up to 20.
@@earthstick yes it looked a complete handful but it’s hard to know how much of that was Kenny Brack trying to make the lap entertaining. I’m sure like the Exige it’s very adjustable and could be set up to suit different driving styles.

I don’t get the point of that active aim management system, it’s a bit of a fraud as it’s basically an air brake may as well have a more aero small windshield

It looks a bit too hyper to me. He's only keeping up with the Ford GT because he has the skills to keep it under control. A lesser driver would not be able to keep those horses in a straight line and would drop back.
