Great song. Thelma's use of warbling vibrato in her voice is nothing short of masterful. The warm tone reminds me of Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. This is not a negative criticism at all but speaking as a singer, personally I think she could improve the emotive impact of this song if she was to increase the intensity of her voice a bit. That would definitely raise the hairs on the back of people's necks! Not as much as Charlotte Summers (who is that, you ask? - ruclips.net/video/sooyEN3jHtw/видео.html), which can be a tad over-cooked at times (she is very young and still finding her feet), but somewhere in between. Melanie Safka had the ability to do this - you don't hear it so much on her studio albums but I saw her live once at Dallas Brookes Hall and was totally blown away - as in, tumble-weeded out the door! Katy Perry does this thing where she really amps up the harmony vocal part in the final passage of her songs which would work well here too, I reckon. With a bit more development, this song has everything it needs to be a big hit not just here in OZ but to gain traction in the US and UK charts as well. Comes with cool lead guitar licks too! Not over done - just right.
Beautiful warm voice and such a sweet sounding chorus - IMO it's you, then Telenova who are the stand-out artists in this sphere.
absolutely beautiful. Great voice!
Loving your music and I am about the last person on earth who listens to pop.
I wouldn’t call Thelma’s music ‘pop’. Pop to me is mainstream singers like Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Britney Spears. She’s far from that and way better.
And you voice is so preciously beautiful.
Love from India.😁
