how are we feeling about nuts on pizza? i’m feeling surprisingly good about it 🧐 make sure to check out our icelandic main channel video here: ruclips.net/video/3hyBe3b1sS8/видео.html 🌋🇮🇸🧖🏻♀️
Hi Saifya I love your channel and we have the same name but one letter difference (first name). Nuts on pizza is a 50/50 for me. I wouldn’t eat whole nuts on the pizza I would have like crushed up nuts or maybe if they powered the nuts and needed it into the dough then yeah I guess.
Food halls are the best. Where I'm from, each stall is family owned or small local businesses so not only will the food be delicious but the portion is also generous
That lamb pita thing looked really good. And that pizza seemed decent too -- I wasn't bothered by the pistachio pizza, but probably because I like them.
No, that's a stupid statement, it's not the same, in Italy there are many places where pistachios are made and definitely goes on pizza and are delicious, pineapple came from across the ocean and are a no-to-go on pizza, you can enjoy whatever you want but doesn't make it "right"
I'm Italian, and am giving you bloody permission to like pineapple on pizza. And pistacchios, for that matter. If my fellow citizens can accept hot dogs on pizza (which is gross and at LEAST as fundamentally non-Italian as pineapple, and probably more so, tbh), I don't see any reason to object to pineapple, which is much tastier and goes VERY well with ham/other cured meat and bell peppers. Hot dogs, on the other hand, belong only in buns. This is a hill I will die on. Now, if you tell me you put cream (or peas), in carbonara, we might have to fight. But that's because it's a specific, named recipe and the ONLY acceptable reason to mess with it is to make one single ingredient swap to make it vegetarian (that is, swap out the guanciale/pancetta/bacon for courgettes or another suitable veg). Pizza is not a recipe. There are many different acceptable configurations of toppings, and new ones emerge all the time.
The Icelandic spa video has been my comfort video lately. I love it. The slight fever dream kind of vibe is really amazing to calm down but be happy and cry laughing too. It is honestly amazing. Along with all of your videos really. I’m a pretty long time fan of your content but this is just the beginning of the (hopefully coming soon) series of fun hotels!!!! I love all of your content, dedication, jokes, and all of the other things about your channel.
Omg of my favorite places in the US is a food stall place in my state’s capitol! They’re such a wonderful burst of variety and I get so excited to go there every year!
It's so funny that im seeing this literally a week after I was there xddd the tacos were amazing, I had a mix of 3 (chicken, beef and chorizo) and the nachos. I was there with my parents and they chose the lamb spot (that is recommended by michelin btw) and it was amazing! When Kamil - one of the chefs picked up that we're polish he started chatting with us and he was so fricking nice! He showed us their photo/drawing wall and since I had my sketchbook with me my dad asked me to draw him so he could put it up there so you can most likely spot the thing I drew if you go there
i love bahn mi so much !! sad we didn’t get to see how you thought of it, but also to be fair it is just a sandwhich, a very good sandwhich though !! it’s usually my family’s go to food whenever we’re at vietnamese fairs coz it’s not hard to walk around the fair compared to something else else like bowl of bun bo hue. it can get messy though coz the bread is crunchy. if you ever eat it again i’d suggest nem bahn mi!! nem is made of pig’s meat i think
@@raerohan4241 oh ok. Must have been misinformed or been thinking of something else. I tried searching for whatever it was. Guess I was just told the wrong thing and believed it for way too long. Lol

I mean, nuts on dessert pizzas have already proven themselves to work, so don't see why not a semi-savoury one

Hi I love your videos so much!❤😊🇮🇸
Pine nuts on pizza are delicious.
As a Swedish speaker, trying to understand Icelandic is always a fun game
as an icelandic speaker, trying to understand swedish is also always a fun game
Fr tho😂
Hvað ertu að tala um svíi?
Shoutout to you and Tyler for always giving us the best content. I appreciate all of you and your teams hard work. 🥰

The lamb stuffed pita made my mouth water and I’m not even hungry. 😭
That lamb pita thing looked really good. And that pizza seemed decent too -- I wasn't bothered by the pistachio pizza, but probably because I like them.
Food halls does sound pretty nordic. Like when a local chieftain would throw a party in his hall and invite everyone. That was a typical viking thing.
Pistachios sound good on pizza, just like pine nuts.
if people can put pistachios on pizza, I can order pineapple on pizza

Everybody can put whatever on whatever food they want for themselves to eat and it's fine.
@@erikas.6790 tomatoes are also an imported food. they are native to the americas.
@@erikas.6790 nope, your statement is stupid. Pizza is pizza, its just a base, like a canvas, there are no rules. Long live pineapple pizza!!!
I hope you do a trip to india and saf can show where her mom is from, and it will be so much funnnn🎉
Anybody else ready "Fuego" with a sausy voice? No? Just me?

That pizza is the best thing I’ve seen in my life
Honestly this is really good content
As someone who is allergic to pistachios I'm living vicariously through you rn
I stopped by one of these in Quebec, it was super cool.
Everyone should also try pear on pizza, gives it a Nice sweet touch. Only on White pizzas though
But you forgot to say the price of each food item because what I have heard it's really expensive there in Iceland.
Food halls are not a trend, they have always been popular since before i was born especially with the working class.
We call these FOOD PARKS in the 🇵🇭 The place looks nice. 😍
I've had that type of pizza at a restaurant in Northern Italy before, VERY yummy
What happened to the banh mi though?
Im from Iceland😃🇮🇸😃

Not gonna lie, that pizza sounds kind of bomb. I'm not usually an adventurous foodie, but I want to try that now
I’m part Viking, part, Irish, and about 70% German-
Can you please go to Norway💅🏽💀😭🥺🇳🇴
saf somehow utilizes the trendy tiktok music well, and its not blaring over the voiceover either
I want to go there to eat. 😊
Cashews are also absolutely delicious on pizza, 10 out of 10 highly recommend
I was just in Reykjavík last week. Is this thing stalking me.
Ive always been a fan of Smoked Icelandic lamb and the Hotdogs! Best Hotdogs in the world by far.
Not to be rude but she really said baan me 😂 it’s pronounced “boun me” right? I’m not tripping, right?
The tacos aren’t giant there normal size
Honey and pistachios on pizza. First time I've heard of that.

But where's the banh mi? Did you underestimate portion sizes and have to give up early?
Either way it all looks really good
not that I've had jetlag, but a full stomach usually sends me into hibernation mode so I'm not surprised (that was soooo much food)
Fun fact pistacchio is quite common on pizza in italy (actually in general in the last few years we, unfortunatelly, put it on top of everthing)
My fiance is Italian and recommends cashews on pizza. I haven't yet had the guts to try that lol
I honestly thought that the pistachios were bugs for a split second. 😅😂
Pistachios on pizza is very common in Italy, that's a Neapolitan one so I think that's why they put pistachios on it!
If you go back again you need to try Icelandic fish and chips it will not disappoint
Kind of a trend…open for 6 years already. Yep that makes sense 😮💨
the set up of this is giving (american) college dining hall. probs less expensive tho
Love the shirt what does it mean? Is it paying homage to JDF?
with how mid tacos are in the US I can't imagine them in europe... nasty
I've been to a few food halls when on vacation in a pretty big city near my town and I got desert crepes there and they were delicious
Neapolitan style pizza like that is my absolute favorite
I'm a picky eater, but omg 🤤 that all looks so good!
I like our foods :) (im from Iceland and I still live in Iceland)
What's the difference between a food hall and a food court?
youre at hlemmur i know where that is. i dont like lamb that much
In sweden I stumbled into a foodhall and let me tell you, it was not mistake😊
food halls are a trend in any modern 1st world city. nothing to do with iceland at all.
I went to Iceland before if you ever go there try the chocolate trust me.
I went to one in NYC and it was amazing. I live in a smallish town so we have nothing like this
Are you Muslim or Hindu or Pakistani?
That pizza looks like it violates the Geneva convention
Why is it that street food is awesome everywhere all the time?
It's the first time I see a real pizza made out of Italy
Im Icelandic and the Tacos there are So good
LOKSINS fer einhver til íslands!😂
you didn't get any gelato from gæta??
Did you try hakarl? Saw it in videos and it’s supposed to be intense, but something worth trying. I have not tried it, but i would.
So it's like a standalone food court?
I like pistachios so I wouldn't mind trying them in pizza
That pizza looks good with the pistachios!!
I am planning to move to Iceland when I'm an adult, so I hope the food is good.
oh i want a bon mi now! is that how you spell it?
Why am I subbed to this
viKINGs would be proud ❤
How much did that set you back?
Yum?! Oh wow so yummy looking TT
i love bahn mi so much !!

How did you manage to eat all that tho??
this just feels like an extra fancy mall food court
Mall food court without the mall😂
The hot dog is the Icelandic food . Also that four dish dinner was ??? 85$?
OMG WHAT KIND OF SAUSES WAS THAT AT THE END?!!?!?!? I’m pretty sure I’ve had it before in utah and it’s called fry sause there, delicious
Just wait till you try french fries with icelands sauce koktelsósa
Food halls are really popular in my city in Brazil, I wish there were more here in the US!
I did not think vintage mall food courts would be fashionable and modern somewhere
Is this not just a food court?
Imagining the taste of that pizza, my mouth started watering...
That lamb pita bread looked good. She did say lamb right? Veal, isn't that another name for lamb meat?
Anyway, my mouth was watering and I want that.
Lamb and veal are not the same meats at all! Lamb is meat from young sheep, and veal is from young cow. Completely different!
@@raerohan4241 oh ok. Must have been misinformed or been thinking of something else.

food halls are so fun! Glad they seem to be popping up around america
everything looks wet
Them tacos just like me
The sushi in Iceland is pretty good too!
It's a trend in New Zealand too haha
Did you try the shark when you were in Iceland?
So wierd to see these kind of videos when they’re in a place i know and eat at often haha
That pizza 😮😮😮 i want
That’s pizza tho 🤤
There is a food hall in downtown Raleigh.
