You can STILL walk with auto-sprint enabled on controller, just don't push the stick all the way 😉

@@Dan-rx5us You can still walk slowly, thumb sticks have range. You can walk as slow (or even slower) than the speed you move while knocked.

I've just got back into Apex and it's been really jarring for me coming from battlefield where I have have my normal turning and ads at the same sensitivity, once I cracked the advanced options I finally got it to feel good
You can still walk with auto sprint. Just slightly pull on the stick. Also, for me personally, I like my pitch and yaw to be equal. It makes gun with lots of vertical recoil easier to use and it makes fighting valks and horizons easier.
Big tip with auto sprint on you can still walk. You just have to pull the stick a bit less far then normal

If you did want to use a high sensitivity, i would recommend 7 non ads and 5 ads sensitivity, and make sure your motion blur is off so you have good aim, movement, and vision at the same time.

I play on KBM but I recently started to learn controller just for fun. I had never played an FPS on controller before so aiming felt quite new to me. Switching from classic to linear really improved my aim and helped a ton. It just feels a lot more natural. Players like Genburten as well as Calamiti (when he was on controller) play on linear and have some of the best aim you'll ever see. I also switched to ALC which felt so nice as it just has way more customization. Lastly practicing against firing range bots without aim assist helped a lot too.
Linear is better than classic in every way I don't know who some pros still play ok classic

@@solofps5189 Well, it really depends on what the player feels more comfortable with.
linear is pretty bad in virtually every FPS game, because you can't turn quickly without increasing your sens, and then you cant hit anything past 5 feet

On the basic controller u wanna do bumper jumper tactical. Jump with L1 or RB and crouch with R3 or RS Click. and you can have a large deadzone with a really small or non existent response curve as well. its worth motioning because it feels different and fluid

I'm a horrible sniper and always have been... that being said, I fluctuate between higher hip fire and higher ads. It really helps me to have a higher ads in Close to mid range.

Manual sprint makes not sense to me… if you’re auto, you can still walk if you stick is only moved a little bit out. There’s a graduation to activating sprint and I hear no one talking about it.
I need a copy in alc for 7-7 sens
i use L2 as the crouching button
R2 as the jumping one
L1 as the aiming button
and R1 as the shooting one.
this made me crouch spam the heck out of playstation lobby's.
in every shooter game i play i get called "the bunny" because of the advantages it gets me... basically i use my OG PS4 controller as a scuff one

I always use high sensitivity on every game I'm really uest to high sensitivity and better with higher sensitivity. Should I still use lower sensitivity? Or should I do what I'm more comfortable with?.

as someone who recently started playing apex (around 6 months ago) i used to play both kbm and controller on high sens, but after switching to low sens and 400dpi(on mouse), hitting shots have gotten way easier, just takes a bit to get used to
I used to play max sensitivity in cod bo back in the day. I got pretty good with it (which actually means something because back then there was no skill based matchmaking) and would almost always get high kill low death games. I then decided to lower my sensitivity and it took me a few days to get used to it, but I definitely started doing even better and noticed that I was hitting more shots especially at distance (which matters even more in Apex). So I'd suggest you try it for a little while and see if you notice a difference.

There is a response curve option under the ALC menu, where you can adjust it with ALC's on.

YOU CAN STILL WALK WHILE AUTO SPRINT IS ON. MOVE THE STICK A LITTLE BIT. JUST TURN AUTO SPRINT ON. IT INCREASES YOUR: FROM WALK TO SPRINT SPEED BY MILLI SECONDS. MILLI SECONDS ARE CRUCIAL IN APEX.

you say multiply with 50 so 8x50 is 400 alc goes up to 500 so u have to multiply with 62.5 because 62.5x8=500

I've been changing my settings every 1 hour, but not cuz i can't find a setting, i change em cuz my controller is 8 years old and very shit
Tip with the auto aim from a pred helps alot with aim if you turn off aim assist for maybe a couple weeks and practice your aim gets better and better then turn it back on it helped me alott

I use 400 yaw & pitch because I was used to Titanfall 2 speed. Definitely requires a lot of precision.
Trust me i have been playing controller since the 1st week of apex launch harsh reality its not for everyone. If u dont vibe with it quickly its better to just switch to mnk otherwise u will have weird inconsistency for absolutely no reason!!!

Yes, you can turn off aim assist by turning it off
The drift makes me play better, it forces me to keep my thumb on the stick and develop a habit of making small adjustments.

Don’t take settings from someone that plays on PC if you play on console. Trust me it is night and day! They can put almost zero input delay and they basically can have aimbot because of it.
