May I ask is drones weigh less than 250 gram (e.g. DJI mini 3 pro) are allow to fly in Zermatt without prior authorization? Thanks a lot and love your video!

You need to check the latest FOCA Drone restrictions map. However most of the restrictions apply to drones that weigh over 250g

There are rules as set out by the FOCA. Also prior authorisation is required to fly a drone within 5 km of the Air-Zermatt Heliport.

Great video! I am traveling to Zermatt next month and I plan on bringing my Air 2s. I know drone flying is legal and there are certain height limits, etc. However, is there anything else I should be aware of before flying my drone there? Thank you!

Apart of operating your drone under the FOCA rules, prior authorisation is required to fly a drone within 5 km of the Air-Zermatt Heliport.

Hello, I have contacted them in advance via email sending my flight plan, then called them on the day to get clearance for the actual time slot.
