  • Here's a quick tutorial on how I make designs in epoxy resin using mica powder and rubber stamps :)
    Supplies used:
    Mica powder
    Rubber stamp
    Silicone mold
    Amazing Clear Cast epoxy resin
Alcohol ink, resin pigment or acrylic paint
    Plastic cup with measurements
Stick for mixing (popsicle sticks work)
    Butane torch for bubbles
    Tape for fixing mistakes
    Respirator mask
    Gloves
*Always use PPE when working with resin and mica powder. If you have any pets, place them in another room away from curing resin and/or mica powder.* When I made this video I didn't know mica powder is very dangerous for animals and humans to breathe -- I should NOT have let my cat even be in the same room. Protect your pets!!!

I never thought to use stamps! Now I need to raid my mother's stash next time I'm in town lol

I love how this came out, but when I tried it, only half the mica would stick to mold. Any suggestions?

Love this video! I was thinking there had to be a better way short of buying those metal stickers for resin. Where do you get your powder?

Thanks for watching! I’m glad it was helpful :) this particular powder I ordered from AliExpress but I have used Finnabair mica powder from Michael’s also and it works just as well!

What is the first two powders you used? It that the mica powder? I’m looking for something to make my resin seem pearly but still clear, just like yours. I use art resin. Is that just the art resin and a little amount of mica powder, to keep it transparent? Xx i love your work and videos!

Embossing works very well on cured resin. I love it for trees. I'd be scared to ruin the mold if done straight on the mold. But would be interesting 🙂

    Super cool results!
Though it could have been a 5min video without all the stirring.
