Sentara Heart Hospital (Norfolk, VA) is one of three locations within the Sentara Heart network of care that provides a quality heart surgery program. Located on the campus of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, they currently have 5 state-of-the-art catheterization labs and a designated Minor Procedure Room where they do cardioversions, TEEs, loop recorders and dental extractions. Several different staff work in the Cath Lab including Registered Nurses, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists, and Cardiologists.
