Ive owned both a CB350 and a CL360. Both were fine machines that I rode all over south and central Texas. Thousands of trouble free miles with just basic maintenance and good rubber, battery.. They were always ready to go. These new gen CB350 are genius! The timing is perfect as young people struggle to make a living and to get around
I had a CB 350 in the mid 70s . Bought it for 100 dollars to get me to work and back . It still had the original tyres and I dropped it regularly whenever the roads were wet . Sold it for 120.
I owned the CL model, 2 high pipes on one side. Thats the Honda I want. Even if this is a single and had the high pipe and other mods for a CL. I'd be the first in line here at my local Honda dealer to get one. The lack of power it has doesnt matter to me. I've had bikes that would snatch your elbows out of their sockets. I dont need that anymore. A CL of this would be fine.
@@georgewashington687 Most MURIKA riders couldn't help but whine whine whine about slow motorcycle which to be fair because the toxic car culture and highway speed up the arse. And one of the hallmark of spare power is pulling high speed wheelies. At 20 hp and 138 km/h, bikes like GB350, SR400, Meteor/Classic 350, Jawa etc simply struggle in places where people commonly go around 80 MPH aka 128 km, *on average*. As an Asian it's just mindboggling.
Gee, I have one like that but it's a TWIN!!! Rated at 29 HP at the rear wheel and 35 Pd/Ft of torque with a 5 speed gearbox and 9500 RPM yellow line and 10000 RPM red line yielding a top gear speed of 112 MPH with my 164 pound fat body full-tucked on the tank. Mine is a 1971 in solid blue with black and white stripes on the tank. I've replaced the OEM head bearings with roller element ones, replaced the OEM fork springs with Progressive Spring Products springs and the shocks with KYB's and welded a stiffener arm on the stock swing arm and now it handles darn good for having bias-ply tires and wire-spoke wires and a single front disc brake. I paid $150 for it used and about $600 in mods and get about 60 smiles per gallon.
Good for you. I am thinking of whether it's going to be this - CB 350rs for that retro look and a bit more power or CB 300r for modern looks but a little less power. I'd take either in a heartbeat.
I bought this bike about 9 months ago and have traveled about 6,000kms on this bike, without any problems at all. It has an awesome exhaust sound, excellent reliability and average power/torque. Great bike for city use but average bike for touring. The final cost of this bike in Bangalore after road tax, insurance, etc. is ₹2,53,000. I have added a pillion seat rest, a seat cover, an angled handle bar riser and front fender extender all of these cost me an additional ₹10,000 approximately.
I did over 20000 miles on the old CB250 RS & it was probably the most fun, nimble handling bike i ever had, just lacked a little in power & torque, if this offering is half as good & lightweight it will ve a hit for sure in europe & the uk.
Sadly the new gen CB 350 had copied the Royal Enfield's long stroke configuration in a wrong way .With increasing traffic density it would be difficult to ride over 2nd gear which is not desirable
I like that it has a long stroke engine, 70.0 X 90 mm but this bike weighs 394.6 pounds. The CB300 R ABS sold in the USA weighs 317 pounds. Still I'd like to try one of these. Nice looking bike.
I live in Canada and have been driving a 1971 CB350 since May of 1971 when I bought it new. They last forever. But I see that size of Honda being offered again but there is no indication it is coming to Canada. When will it be available here in Canada?
Yo logré tener la cb 175 modelo 79 de dos cilindros con pistones de cabeza alta y andaba muy bien con el platino en la culata era una moto veloz apesar de solo 4 velocidades!!!
This bike needs to be in the US. I’m surprised with all the technology we have at our feet that they did not integrate a small touch screen GPS, speed, gas, fluid levels etc or at least make it a option.
Competencia dura en el segmento de lo clásico. Me la pones difícil poder escoger entre Royal Enfield Meteor 350 y la Honda de la referencia. Al final vamos por el precio.
Cero difícil, Honda siempre superará a RE.

I love the look of the new CB350 and initially thought I might consider one for commuting and keep my Street Triple R for fun at the weekends, then I saw the power output of 20 BHP?! which is appalling considering its 50 year old forefather CB350 twin was making almost double the power, a 2021 350 single should be making at least the 37 BHP that the original made. in fact the late 1970s single cylinder Honda CB250RS was making 26 BHP and weighed almost 40 kgs less, a great little bike which should've been Hondas bench mark.
@@lastxp The 1970s CB350 twin was renowned for its bullet proof engine (with twice the power), it wasn't uncommon for them to do over 100,000 miles, so if they could do it back then there's no reason they couldn't produce a much more powerful engine than the pathetic 20bhp with the same reliability .
I'm wondering if it has to do with the market being developing countries, lower compression to deal with poorer quality fuels, low stress motors last longer with infrequent servicing. Just guessing, I would have assumed 30hp could be easily obtained with this capacity, modern scooters do it.
Wow 🤩 that’s a nice looking bike ! I’d take that Honda reliability over those other bikes any day … you’ll spend more time riding and less time and money in repairs and maintenance. Is this going be available in the USA and Canada ?
I have always liked Hondas. I started out on a CB350 Four and loved it. I'm betting it is not going to be offered in the North American market, it's going to be mainly for the Indian and Asian markets.
