This is just my every day carry to pretty much all types of work. In my tool belt. 25ft fatmax tape, 22 0z hammer, big and small nail set, 1/2" and 1" beater chisels, small flat bar, flat head screwdriver, either 1 set red or yellow snips, random common screw tips/ always 1/8" and 3/16" drill bits for predrill, 1/4" and 5/16" nut driver tips, speed square, small file, chalk line, at least 2 pencils, quick change utility knife, small needle nose pliers, and suspension rigs. I feel that these tools are a must have for any carpentry/ handyman work at all times unless you are crawling on the ground working. Thanks Vince for sharing.
Vince do you still have this husky bag or have you switched to something else. I have had this same bag for 4 years and love it but I had to replace it twice because the handle kept getting stuck on me, have you had any issues.
I love watching old VCG videos. You can appreciate how far the channel has come. And it’s funny to see certain brands get taken over by Milwaukee a few years later.
Thanks for your videos. As a contractor I enjoy seeing what other people have set up for comparison. I like being as efficient as possible on the job site. Keep them rolling
A buddy of mine has that same exact tool bag. That thing is a beast. You can never have too many utility knives or flashlights. I'm surprised you didn't have a single flashlight in there.
Unsuspecting jobsite helper: "Holy Christ man, this toolbag weighs 200 f#$king lbs... what you got in here?" Vince: "Not much... just some knives, prybars, and tape measures."
I have the smaller Husky rolling tool bag.. I have another husky tool bag to split the weight when I go up and down stairs . I am a bit older as well as go from apartments to apartment for repairs and remodel so splitying the weight helps, then when I get them both up the flight of stairs you put the one on top of the roller and roll down the hallway..a tip for u as you get older and the one is too heavy for up and down stairs ..
That "spare hole saw" was there because you "weren't wearing your tool belt". Lol! I watch all of your great informative videos. Thanks for having such passion in what you do.✌🏾
Thats my old favorite husky tool bag. Sometimes I still miss it . Telescoping handle is good till it breaks . Still it's worth buying a new one if it suits your job site needs . Great video on a big rolling tool bag and contractor tools
Overloading it and yanking it up stairs and kicking it down stairs and dragging it sometimes lol. I scraped the plastic skid on the back off. It took a beating for sure and it's really the handle that fails eventually. I know it's my fault lol. The bag was always over filled and I added out side pouches it weighs . Great bag took the abuse for probably a little over a year. You can actually catch that bag in my Milwaukee warranty video.
I never thought about that maybe ? Home Depot is crazy good with the warranty stuff . Plus I've moved on with the dewalt tough system. Your amazing bro You can power a space ship with the energy you have must be the coffee . Have a great weekend work hard play hard
You have van zip in your bag lol . They make life so easy. Good timing was courious what other people have in there bags!! Im in process of filling my packout set with 3 additional organizers and large tote now Its a sweet setup !!
Thanks Vince, this was nicely done !! It's cool to see inside the mind of the Top Dog !! How you are prepared for just about any possibility on a given job. Having a tool with you in anticipation of a problem that "could" arise. How big is the bag? What a great bag, kuddos to Husky so many pouches and sizes of them. Liked the big long side pouch that was lined that you had the scrapers in. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos, Rodney
When I first started buying tools I got a impact and 1/2" drill from Makita and 3 utility knives. Since 2016 I've ended up expanding my collection by about 3k-5k and have 10 or 12 utility knives. The knife from the day before always ends up still on yesterday's pants...
I Love the concept of the Husky large rolling tool bag BUT I've owned 2 of them and they just won't stand up to my daily use and abuse. Both lasted less than 1 year. The handle, rollers and zipper never failed but all of the pockets ripped inside and out which leaves you with nothing but a big cavernous bag that you have to empty out every time your looking for something. I still have the bags for use at my house but for me in a commercial / industrial setting I need something much tougher than Husky builds. I now have a Veto bag. The bag itself doesn't roll but if I need to go long distances I bought a small set of folding aluminum hand trucks with non marring wheels and it's working great for me.
Oops!, I need to set the record straight. The bag you're reviewing is the pro grade ( 1,680 denier ) and cost 129.00. The bags I owned were the same size but different quality ( 600 denier ) and cost 69.00. When I bought mine years ago Home Depot didn't have the heavy duty 1,680 denier bag. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the pro grade bag. It's much, much more heavy duty than the ones I owned. Sorry for the mix up.
I enjoyed your construction bag videos. Between your employee's and your bag videos, I have an idea of what to have in my own bag(s) and how to set it(them) up. Just a little background; I was a medic in the Army for 23 years. Finding and organizing medical bags, I always wanted to find the best way to setup a bag for easy and organized use; especially since as a field medic, i had to carry my field gear and medical gear when away from the field ambulance. I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. Always want to do the job right and professionally. Just viewed and joined your channel today.
@@stitchthisditchthat259 I don't think what I did is relevant anymore. When I worked range maintenance, which is replace and repair of targetry and ranges for small arms and combat systems. I used ammo cans and mortar shell boxes. They were tough and lasted in the field. The 7.62mm linked ammo boxes were good for small storage of fasteners. Two .50 cal. Ammo cans could carry a keg of nails and were much easier to carry by their top handles. The Packout system really makes a lot of that antiquated. Medic bags and construction bags don't compare well, so I can't comment on that subject. I have done some handyman work for landlords and private parties in the past. If I get back to that gig, I am definitely going to borrow some of VCG ideas for my own setup. I think if I was still a Medic in the Army I would use the Packout system for my aid station supplies and equipment.
Bro, very cool vid. Agreed, 100%, "2 is 1 and 1 is none" and like Pops used to say, about tools and everything else he bought. "it's cheaper to go first class kid" 😎🤙🏼
I too had both the Dewalt allen keys and the Eklind set. And i scrapped the Dewalt for the same reason, too big and bulky, the Eklind are perfect size.
I wonder if you could do a video of dues and don’ts with a tool bag for rookies for example putting sharp metal and razor blades in tool bag when clean up a job site. I know this is common sense but it’s amazing to me how many people do it
Great video Vince, Love the husky brand tool bags but have graduated to the veto pro bags. They are pricey but great bags. I also love the Milwaukee soft roller bag and now own the hard plastic Milwaukee roller system with all the accessories. Its getting better and better. I also love your comment about the chalk box, that is also my favorite. Good times brother, keep up the good work. Al from Maryland
The good thing Vince is everyone is trying to duplicate the veto bags and it is improving all the others. Milwaukee now has bags with a similar base on them. If your bag was in two inches of water your tools would still be safe. Check out the vetos, you won't be disappointed. Al
And about nail pullers, end nippers, stud finder, coping saw, miter saw angle finder, files, that is in my bags as finish/trim carpenter, i do have some of what you carry, minus you must of bought all the stanley knives in town. As finish carry fishing tools ive seen few of your videos do you build or a G.C. plus handy man?
I have been looking at a chalk box just like that from Tajima I think I'm going to order it but I do run the Tajima Convoy super 26 caulk guns and I love them they are the best ! I believe in my view that they are the best called guns on the market they are the Ferrari of caulk guns
I carry a Klein tool bag back pack it holds all of my common tools and I have my hands free to carry power tools or materials every trip saves time that's money really like it do a review and see what you think ? Enjoy your channel
I like the official names. You carry adjustable pliers and open end adjustable wrenches rather than a crescent wrench and channel locks. Also, who carries an extra thermocouple. I’m a plumber and don’t carry and extra thermocouple. Then again I don’t really do service anymoee
Waaasuuuup V.C.G. I am fairly new to your channel and I got to say , I really dig the DeWalt vlogs as I am a HUGE fan of dewalt and am on track to building up my very own 20v. MAX platform. So with that being said, could you, or would you do a video on what would be the best way to get started doing that very thing? Also I love the way you can take "THEEEE MOST BORING THING'S " and making them fun and exciting! Thanks for that, Steve K.
Great video . I assume your a pro remodeler, Wish I would have been as organized as you when I was younger. Maybe would have made more money...hebehee..but seriously having an organized set up make you money...
😄 I think you could change some of the thing and get mere tools that are note the same. But i see the same in my tool bokses. I think i will get 4 of the milwaukee big bokses to make in the car. Thay sems esay to take in to the jobs. Now i got to big alu bokses. Thanks for shereing 😊
Sir, nice...pry bars, tape measures, utility knives...hehehehe, but where are your screw drivers, oh wait, must me the drill drivers in the dewalt boxes behind yas...funny chit man, luv it!!!
i used to go thru bags every year until i bought veto pro pac...the best bags in the business...most of their bags are over $200 but worth it. 5 year zero downtime warranty and hold up to the abuse. The only problem is they dont make bags with handles & wheels on them so if you want that style gotta buy husky for now. i own 3 veto bags and will never buy another brand after owning them.
my e-d-c tools a builders bag has my master-force (claimed by menards 2 b their dewalt) drill and impact driver kit with drill and driver bits ans some screws and such if u have a menards try em
What no wood stretcher. When I was in Votech High School we used to tell the freshman to go to the tool room and get the wood stretcher cuz they cut the piece of wood to short and we had to make it longer lol
Vince, you have to tell me what brand that DRYWALL RASP is, we have these cheap Stanley Rasps that break all the time, the old school ones are nowhere to be found, where and when did you that one??
A it looks like those old heavy duty ones that last for 100+ years. I had one from my Papa when he passed I got all his carpentry hand tools, but it went missing on a job out of my pouch one day. The depot up here only sells the $5 Stanleys. Thanks for getting back to me!

In my line of work a tool bag must be lean and only have what’s prudent to the days task at hand. I can understand that load when working single family homes or TI’s in strip malls.
LMAO. I have everyone of those tools. Different chalk line and no moisture meter. Bought 3 of your favorite utility knives at an auction. What brand and model moisture meter is that and do you like it. By the way. What’s in Lorenzo’s tool bag besides CAULK
I can’t even remember what brand moisture meter it is. I do know that Ryobi sells one that you don’t need to pierce the building materials to test! Can never have enough knives, and Lorenzo loves using his Caulk!!
This is just my every day carry to pretty much all types of work. I feel that these tools are a must have for any carpentry/ handyman work at all times unless you are crawling on the ground working. Thanks Vince for sharing.
Well rounded EDC, I should add a needle nose and file to my setup!!
Vince do you still have this husky bag or have you switched to something else. I have had this same bag for 4 years and love it but I had to replace it twice because the handle kept getting stuck on me, have you had any issues.

Thanks Tony I really appreciate it!!
Watching old video back, this is like one of my favorite videos from you
I'm a 80's baby; am I the only one who remembers when "Husky" was a size in clothing? Lol😆✌🏾
🤣🤣
Shit that was as late as 2000s here where Levi’s are the standard 😂
I work out of an 18 inch husky bag myself, had it for 10 years and it is still going strong
Definitely been a favorite of mine for hand tool organization!!
Just got me a tool box and looked up what contractors will need and this helped a lot thanks 😎
Thanks for your videos. As a contractor I enjoy seeing what other people have set up for comparison. I like being as efficient as possible on the job site. Keep them rolling
Thank you enders!
A buddy of mine has that same exact tool bag. That thing is a beast. You can never have too many utility knives or flashlights. I'm surprised you didn't have a single flashlight in there.
I keep the flashlights on my visor with my pencil, and in my center console! I grab those all the time even if I don’t need the huge bag cuz!!
Unsuspecting jobsite helper: "Holy Christ man, this toolbag weighs 200 f#$king lbs... what you got in here?"
Vince: "Not much... just some knives, prybars, and tape measures."
🤣🤣
Pussies never expect the weight of a well prepared bag 😂
Thanks man just started working with my pops and he does it all too. I’m gonna go crazy at Home Depot now.
I have the smaller Husky rolling tool bag.. I have another husky tool bag to split the weight when I go up and down stairs . knife count.... he should have had a pry bar count man lol
🤣🤣🤣 pry bars aren’t as glorious as knives!!
Thats my old favorite husky tool bag.
Sometimes I still miss it . Telescoping handle is good till it breaks . Still it's worth buying a new one if it suits your job site needs . Great video on a big rolling tool bag and contractor tools
Handle has been pretty rugged for me, what happened to yours?
Overloading it and yanking it up stairs and kicking it down stairs and dragging it sometimes lol. I scraped the plastic skid on the back off. Will husky warranty the bag?
I never thought about that maybe ?
Home Depot is crazy good with the warranty stuff . Plus I've moved on with the dewalt tough system. Your amazing bro
You can power a space ship with the energy you have must be the coffee .
Have a great weekend work hard play hard
I have had my Milwaukee fastback for 7 years hands down the best utility knife out there
Vince has more knives than a chef lol
Yup!!
probably good for his customer relations.
Client
Underpayment
Not
Tolerated
Don’t know how that Milwaukee fastback isn’t your favorite. I love that thing.
The fastback is a beast!! Thanks for watching!!
i literally got goosebumps when you pulled out the surform rasp hahaha... shaving off drywall is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me
You have van zip in your bag lol . They make life so easy. Good timing was courious what other people have in there bags!! Im in process of filling my packout set with 3 additional organizers and large tote now
Its a sweet setup !!
Those soft organizers look awesome, I’d love to get my hands on a few!!
I just realized you guys are out of Drexel Hill, PA... I’m in Downingtown, PA myself! What a small world!
Yes it is my friend!!

Great video Vince. I think I might start using a tool bag. It's a great idea.
I gotta clean my bag out man. thanks for organizing ideas. keep up the good work!
🤣🤣🤣 doing this video helped me clean mine out! Make a video about it bro!!
Dig the over flow dewalt hard screw bit case... I gotta do that....
Nice just added a few tools to go in my van cheers
Nice Toby!!!
Great Video, I have the 16 in Husky tool bag with a great set up for Electrical...
Can you please do a tour of all your pack outs and tough systems and what you have in them like screws or hanging kit or concrete kit
When I first started buying tools I got a impact and 1/2" drill from Makita and 3 utility knives.

MAN!!! I wish I could buy the dewalt tough case container in the UK but I can't find it anywhere, looks so handy.
6:29 random cat wants screen time lol

Pops sounds like my kinda guy!! Thanks Mike!
Great video! I was looking for husky tool bag exactly like that one but my Home Depot didn’t have it :( but great stuff 👍👍
Tool bag video was hilarious! That bag is bottomless. I lmao when you kept pulling out big items and the Pry bars, OMG, LOL.
😂😂😂👍
Great video! Thanks Vince.
Anytime! Glad you liked it!!
I too had both the Dewalt allen keys and the Eklind set. And i scrapped the Dewalt for the same reason, too big and bulky, the Eklind are perfect size.
It’s the truth, simple is much better !!
I bought this bag because of this video
So many knives Vince. 1 to loose.1 to use.1to hand off to someone who isn't prepared. 1 to break. And 1 to keep nice.
You know I love my knives Colt X!!
One tool I found myself having to borrow frequently were some good wire strippers...
I wonder if you could do a video of dues and don’ts with a tool bag for rookies for example putting sharp metal and razor blades in tool bag when clean up a job site.
I know this is common sense but it’s amazing to me how many people do it
@vCg construction That tool bag is amazing i have it and is awesome now is my spare because i have mu pack out but i still use this one!!
Nice Omar!
Nice tool sack bro well organized.
Thank you baldo!!

Al
Will do!!
If you took out the extra tape measures, knifes, pry bars you could have double the tools in your sack.
Nice tool bag, you got a lot of pry bars too!
2 is one and 1 is none!! 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, i loved it. I know you have a scooby doo lunch box with a spare thermos in that bag.
Haha thanks for watching foreman!!

Yeah that's what's in my bag also but I dont carry that many small pry bars
I like the official names. You carry adjustable pliers and open end adjustable wrenches rather than a crescent wrench and channel locks. Also, who carries an extra thermocouple. I’m a plumber and don’t carry and extra thermocouple. Then again I don’t really do service anymoee
Waaasuuuup V.C.G.

Nice video brother! Looks much like my tool bags!
Yeah man!!!
6:26 sneaky kitty =) anyways nice tool bag tour!
Cat spotting!!
Great video . I assume your a pro remodeler, Wish I would have been as organized as you when I was younger. Maybe would have made more money...hebehee..but seriously having an organized set up make you money...
I was fortunate to work around some talented tradesmen in my younger years that made a lasting impression about organization !!
I have over 30 years roofing experience even remember how to run a kettle. I'm old
😄 I think you could change some of the thing and get mere tools that are note the same. But i see the same in my tool bokses.
I think i will get 4 of the milwaukee big bokses to make in the car. Thay sems esay to take in to the jobs. Now i got to big alu bokses.
Thanks for shereing 😊
Great piece but you got to replace that stud finder with one of those magnet ones, wayyyyy smaller in the pouch.
Sir, nice...pry bars, tape measures, utility knives...hehehehe, but where are your screw drivers, oh wait, must me the drill drivers in the dewalt boxes behind yas...funny chit man, luv it!!!
Ahh ha siding zippers! BOOM Did not see that coming. Nice setup my man, my bags are shit at the moment.
Looks like a need a scraper/prybar, extra knife, and a 5 in 1 tool
Smooth out a relationship ship with this thing lol great video as always bro
Siding tool very useful
Great video.
Thanks Larry
Can you do a video on your capentors tool belt set up
i used to go thru bags every year until i bought veto pro pac...the best bags in the business...most of their bags are over $200 but worth it. 5 year zero downtime warranty and hold up to the abuse. The only problem is they dont make bags with handles & wheels on them so if you want that style gotta buy husky for now. i own 3 veto bags and will never buy another brand after owning them.
Thanks for the heads up, we’ll check them out!!
"it can smooth out a relationship" lol
Your voice was more.... mellow? I love you man
Dude you have everything but the kitchen sink in that bag! LoL
I'm really surprised I haven't seen you with an electrical tester
That looks just like my old tool bag before I hurt my back and can't work anymore
Great video.....
Thanks Bobby we appreciate it!!
You have got to be from Rhode Island. North Providence? Johnston?
I've learned that sometimes 5 is 1, and anything less is none watching this video
Could we do an updated version 2022 and include power tools ?
What size is the husky tool bag in the video please.
I like your videos
my e-d-c tools a builders bag has my master-force (claimed by menards 2 b their dewalt) drill and impact driver kit with drill and driver bits ans some screws and such if u have a menards try em
Good stuff
Thanks bro!!
Oh the days before packout
No electrical tap. I think your missing one more thing,
your sun screen lol
What no wood stretcher. When I was in Votech High School we used to tell the freshman to go to the tool room and get the wood stretcher cuz they cut the piece of wood to short and we had to make it longer lol
No wood stretcher, but I do have plenty of left handed chisels in my bag though!! 🤣🤣🤣
Where do you keep your bucket of steam and 100’ of shore line??
Make sure they pull start the vacuum cleaner correctly too.
Was that a metric crescent wrench? I can only find standard ones.
You FORGOT: Duct Tape, Work Gloves, Spectacles, Flashlight, Walkie Talkie, Bluetooth Speaker, Shoe Horn Helper, Airpods
Wheres the tape measure and pry bar counter lol
MY PRY BARS HAVE THEIR OWN BAG
Cat run by at 6:28 looked scared
Vince, you have to tell me what brand that DRYWALL RASP is, we have these cheap Stanley Rasps that break all the time, the old school ones are nowhere to be found, where and when did you that one??
It’s a cheap “wallboard”, “thats the company name” rasp I found at Depot!
A it looks like those old heavy duty ones that last for 100+ years. I had one from my Papa when he passed I got all his carpentry hand tools, but it went missing on a job out of my pouch one day. The depot up here only sells the $5 Stanleys. Thanks for getting back to me!
Try wrapping a block of wood with some wire lath or expanded steel!
Interesting. I would never have thought of that!
The tool bag I use is the Stanley fatmax exreame round top tool tote
I am a cabinet punch guy on new high rise apartments. There is no way I would survive packing that load up 14 flights of stairs each morning. In my line of work a tool bag must be lean and only have what’s prudent to the days task at hand. I can understand that load when working single family homes or TI’s in strip malls.
They don’t let you use the service elevator?
Need a update on this
You miss a one way screw driver , for installing security doors
🤣🤣🤣
What size of Husky bag is this?
Nice Cat @ 14:18 Good Mouser?
“And that one is made in America”
This guy have extra tools for his helper...
Husky makes good quality stuff
The Moisture meter is made by General, you get them at lowes..depot's around me never carry the probe type
I'm not going to buy a "Walabot" because I hate their commercial when I just want to watch your videos. "Smooth out a relationship", LOL!
This must have been before he was on the take with Milwaukee.
