Love this song so much. Watched storks and my daughters loves the ending too! Balled out in tears thinking of how fast time will fly by and my daughter wont be craddĺed in my arms anymore and she'll be a grown lady. Live in the moments with your precious ones.
I went to see the movie with my son he was 3 at the time and there was Many familes in the theatre, and at the end when they played this song, i swear most People were crying. I even saw some dads holding their Kids as the song was playing. One of the best things ive ever seen. And i was holding my son too and few tears came out but i think it was a little thing in my eyes lol
Specially when the scene that storks delivered the baby to their parents, and tulip came home to her family...and my tears bursted out while watching the ending...

Watched this movie with my daughter and how wonderful it was. Lot of families. This song at the end has a way to make you feel all fuzzy inside and also all happy too. Glad to know ya'll had a good time with your kids watching this movie. My baby is all grown up now and in high school. What a journey it has been.
Anybody just absolutly loved the part when he started singing "I would lie awake at night, hoping that one day i'd run. I had waited all my life." That has to be my favorite part lol
This song and movie take me not only back to the theatres when I took my boys to see it, but having them placed into my arms for the first time when they were born. My Little Men. This song always hits a deep note.
I see a lot of people in the comments saying how happy this movie and this song made them. They were/are crying happy tears and that warms my heart, truly. Though, I’ll confess those are not the kind of comments I was looking for. See, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about four years now, going on five and for us, the movie and this song have a whole different meaning. We had an early miscarriage about two years ago and it purely devastated us. We’ve been through many ups and downs including each of us losing a parent during the same year. We’ve managed to overcome more obstacles in our 8 year marriage than most people have to go through in a life time. But this one… this is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do, separate, together, or otherwise. This song makes us ball like babies every time it starts because God put this yearning and longing in our hearts to be able to procreate and put the best and goofiest parts of ourselves into one little tiny human. That is after all, what he and I believe to be the purpose of life. And like they say, there’s no greater reward than being able to assist God in one of his living breathing miracles. This movie and song mean so much to us and it’s our favorite movie to watch when we are at our lowest because, it gives us hope. Hope, that one day we’ll be holding a blessing from God, of our own. And he and I have felt like God was preparing us our whole lives to be the best versions of ourselves we can be so that we could be the best parents to our blessing. And similar to grieving, loss and just living, we have our good days and our bad days. We tend to watch this movie on our worst days. It brings he and I closer together. It also brings our united front closer to God. But also it brings us a small step closer to holding our miracle, someday. We’ve found no other song in it’s entirety, that sums up the feeling of infertility quite like this one. So, if you managed to get this far in reading this comment, hold and kiss your little ones because some of us are still hoping and waiting❤️ P.S. I was writing this comment whilst listening to the song and wanted to share some of the lyrics that stand out to me and why they stand out. These are just my own personal interpretations. 🎵”Never how I planned it”🎵 (He and I both grew up thinking we’d have no problems conceiving, just like everyone else around us) 🎵”I was looking up”🎵 (We’re always looking to God for answers and we never stop praying for him to bless us with what our hearts most desire) 🎵“Hoping that I’d find it”🎵 (Find that the miracle child is on its way) 🎵“I was looking up Holding on to patience Counting up the days, days that I’ve been waiting”🎵 (This one, is self explanatory) 🎵“I would lie awake at night”🎵 (He and I have had many sleepless nights, hoping and praying) 🎵”Hoping that one day I’d run (find)”🎵 (I know the word is ‘run’ but during this part I always hear and sing ‘find.’ It changes the meaning of the lyric, completely. So, hoping one day, we’d find that it’s finally, the next chapter of our lives and we’ve finally overcome the hardest obstacle we’ll ever (hopefully) go through) 🎵”I have waited all my life”🎵 (We feel like he was preparing us our whole lives to one day become the best parents a kid could ask for, within reason and grace, of course. We certainly won’t be perfect, that title is reserved for the one and only, himself) 🎵“Waiting for you”🎵 🙏🏻❤️🥺😭💜🫶🏻

I think a sequel to this movie would ruin the feeling you get. It gives you hope for a better future, that what you'll find what you're looking for. Maybe we shouldn't know what the future holds for junior and tulip, maybe we should just hope it's good. I'd like to have hope.
