Objection: Mandarin Duck shared the food willingly with the pigeon but it attacked the duck without any reason to do so. In order to defend himself and his wifey from more slapping attacks the duck bit the pigeon. Totally self defense here. Yes, the duck may a little bit racists for attacking every pigeon by the words "they are all just flying rats and i cant tell them apart anyway". But hey, it was in the heat of the moment ;)
It kind of reminded me of a fight I saw one morning between two mockingbirds. I kid you not, one of the mockingbirds flew above the other one, and literally wing-slapped it to the ground. It was like watching a volleyball get spiked.
Wow wait until he knows that pigeons die to natural causes like predators 💀 Also as a bird owner, I'm sure does slaps barely hurt. My bird accidentally slaps his wings on the wall while flying but he is not even aware that he has hurt himself as the force is minimal. Pigeons also have feathers to cushion the slaps.
@@FromRussia_With_Love I currently own 5 (yes, FIVE) pet pigeons. 3 babies and the parents. They're very sweet and nice, but be prepared to clean alot of poop. I have 2 dog cages attached to each other that are about 5 feet long and have pee pads lining the inside. Plus their food and water dishes. Had the male for almost a year and the female for 5 months. They can be very sweet and affectionate. The 1 baby sleeps in my bed with me sometimes with no issues. Just be prepared to clean about 3 or 4x a week.
I've rescued and released 3 pigeons over the years. Even wild ones can be sweet. One little one was attacked by a cat and let me pick him up, it was almost like he knew I was going to help.

Folks where feeding them bread few years ago because it was more of a misconception about birds liking bread/breadcrumbs. These days its been proven to be not super great to feed birds bread and is alot better to feed them seed, nuts and those sorts of things because it gives them a good amount of nutrition.

Pigeons are heroic animals. They dont have sharp beaks or claws but they can slap other birds. I saw them beating roosters and swans. They are badass I love them a lot.
I wonder if the different bird talk is just like different accents and they can all understand each other, or if it’s a foreign language and they’re all just abusing each other in their own tongue.
I think it’s more like a completely different way of communication, impossible for them to understand each other as the different bird species all evolved to be compatible with only their species. Same goes for humans, we may speak different languages but the way our body makes sound is the complete same.
I just love how the pigeon tried to bully the duck so it could get more of the food but it backfired and then the duck wouldn’t let him have any of the food 😂

I think it’s more like a completely different way of communication, impossible for them to understand each other as the different bird species all evolved to be compatible with only their species. Same goes for humans, we may speak different languages but the way our body makes sound is the complete same.
