    Please dont stop making videos like this. They are very helpful for people that never done this before 🙏

    If you could do one of these for changing your brake pads and doing an oil change it would be extremely helpful.

      Sure can. Currently dealing with a snapped turbo stud :(.

    You did the tube part wrong like everyone else, you put the 90s on the two halves first then when you mate them together you slide the tube in.

      Thought of that after the fact, the instructions were pretty bad for that step.

    Definitely a red flag when you have to do all of this assembly work. Why doesn't radium assemble it for you before shipping? I agree there are lot's of failure points, including some that don't seem like they even need to be there. Seems like a good way to ruin a track day. Thanks for sharing this with the community, I think I will opt for high powered flash light lol.
    To further critique your video, not that I know anything about making videos, but it might be good to zoom in a little for the bench top assembly work so people can see what you are doing a little bit better.

      Thank you for the critique. It can be difficult since I typically shoot these by myself, but I do have a Cannon camera that would likely do a good job at this. I'll give it a shot!
      As for the coolant tank I've already had to fix one leak, and it was coming from the lower sight glass BPT fitting...Annoying to say the least. I'll be taking the factory overflow with me to the track this weekend just incase the Radium unit tries to act up. I don't understand why they wouldn't just weld the center section, and instead opted for a gasket which will eventually fail.

      @@pointbypatrol Is the radium coolant tank the only one thats available in the aftermarket?

      @@rjhick1 No. Mishimoto makes one too. I may end up reverting back to stock. I'll put the Radium to the test this weekend at the track!

    Did you end up install the PCV and CCV catch cans as well from Radium?

    Good video but you probably apply wrong torque because you are not holding it right the hand must be in center of the grip otherwise it will be to low or to high depents op where you hold it

    Hi there, so after the cooling parts mods. Does it help to reduce the engine heat? Should i change them all? Like radiator, intercoler, oil cooler? In my place its 95° to 100° constantly. So its kinda scare me to bring my fl5 to track before all the mods. Also im looking to change to spoon thermostat so that it opens earlier and change the air intake into a much bigger one. Do u think all this stuff will help?

      The radiator and oil cooler are absolutely necessary. If you keep the stock intercooler you'll have better flow to the radiator, but your IAT's will suffer. A turbo blanket, downpipe and exhaust will also really help to keep your engine temps down! 95-100 degrees is very severe! Be sure to remove the rain guard under the hood vent and run the heat in the car!

      @@pointbypatrol sometimes even more than 100° man. The track in my country is mandalika gp. Its really2 hot. So if i use prl intercooler, using bigger radiator will not be efficient? Thats what worries me with the oil cooler also blocking the radiator. I already use the ptp turbo blanket. Btw which one is the rainguard? And also turning the ac heater on u mean??

      @pointbypatrol  10 месяцев назад

      @@krucil2161 you'll likely want to keep the factory intercooler until a tube and fin style intercooler is developed (they flow better). The PRL really blocks air flow. The oil cooler flows really well, so you don't need to worry about it causing any issues with radiator performance. If you pop the hood and look underneath where the hood vent is, you'll see a metal tray. There are 5 10mm bolts that hold it on. Make sure to take that off, and you'll want to turn the heater to maximum in the car, but be sure to toggle the a/c compressor off.
